Noticed many of you have purchased a copper stingray mod from FT. I'm looking to buy one but they have like six or eight to select from. Which one in particular do you recommend?
Looks like the mixed stingray that sells for around $30 has sold the most. It also has very good reviews. Is this the one you all are buying?
I also see other retailers selling the stingray mod made by Infinite. Does infinite make the best one? I Don't believe FT sells the infinite stingray mod though but I would be willing to spend a little more if that is the better of the stingrays available.
thanks!

I have the one made by infinite. I'm happy with the purchase. Found it on Ebay. Yeah it was a bit more then FT but I know what I was getting and it was shipped fast and free. That was the two biggest factors. I had been looking at FT at first to make my purchase. I have been happy with what I have gotten there before except the shipping times and I didn't want to wait.

I don't have anything to compare it too. When I got it the button was a little crunchy. I took it apart and cleaned it. Not much help. I have had it for less then a week and have noticed that it has worn in and works better now. Yesterday I made a new "rice pin" for the switch. The one in there was pretty short. I also polished and lubed the switch. Now it works better. You still have to press it fairly centered, but with my fingers, and the short stroke of the button its not really an issue. If you put the mod down with the locking ring up, it does have a lean to it. I don't know if it's the machining tolerances or a design flaw. Once again its not really a functional issue. Overall it works fine. Could it be better? Sure but everything else is top notch. I don't know if the original has these issues. For what I paid I'm happy and it looks and works killer with my magma clone (also by infinite). I don't think you can go wrong, especially if you get one for $30 at FT.

Thanks for your thoughts, sounds like it's a solid mod and one I will be giving serious thought at getting
