I hear ya man. Don't blame you if your having problems with it. Did you check your atty screws? I had a loose one once and it was vaping very light.

it hits fine when it hits... there is just no consistency to it. It works and then the next time I push it is doesn't work

pretty bummed out presently

Okay, I did take the switch apart again for closer inspection on my infinite stingray. I have come to believe the wobble issues are likely related to that teeny rice pin, so will have to get some Teflon tape to try to fatten it up a bit. I do have some crunchies, but not enough to worry over. More worried about the wobble at this point, which you'd never hear me say at a nightclub on a Saturday night! That's when "The Wobble" becomes something to look forward to, least around here. :p

It wasn't a battery thing, it was a "mess with the bottom magnet/switch and the derlin" thing

works great now, although the button sticks out a little more than it should.

from what I gather, some batteries have trouble in the stingray due to the shape of the bottom contact. Cut the wrapper back a mm (widen the contact area) and it should work fine.

Thanks for the thread. Helped me figure out what be the 'crunchy' feel in my Stingray clone. Gonna pull it apart and check it out.

So glad I went with the mod - I was using the SVD and went through 2 of them. The firing buttons SUCK! I thought the first one I had went because I dropped it a couple times. The second one is F'ed up after a month and a half of usage with no drops. The fining button is just too small and is easy pushed around. It works great as an ohm checker! :p
