Also, one thing to keep in mind about authentic mods, especially limited-run mods, is that you can generally resell them for the full price or even more than you paid. I see it all the time in several groups I belong to.

And those flippers are the same people that feverishly attack clones and belittle clone owners.
They would rather have the last laugh and charge a premium for an already overpriced device.

Clones give buyer options. This threatens flippers.
Clones hurt flippers, not modders who sell every device they make in a day.

The last Atmomixani offerings (4 models) sold out in 30 minutes.
Clones haven't hurt sales one bit..... Unless you are trying to flip a used mod.

TBH, for good mods clones haven't hurt flippers either. Some things just can't be cloned.

Although I don't think that term properly applies to a regular person selling an old mod.

Sometimes though I am confused at the high price-point of mods that are produced in the thousands and thousands and which obviously aren't artisan produced.

I was specifically referencing people who sit on wait lists buying mods and reselling them used at or above retail prices.
Those people get upset when potential buyers have the option of buying a $40 clone instead of their $400 used mod.
I rarely see true collectors bothering with the clone debate.

Connoisseurs can spot a clone a mile away, so it's a non-issue for them.

I should clarify, I used the grease on the two sections that rub. The actual switch button and the section there the magnet and delrin attach. I can post pics if needed.

uploadfromtaptalk1399333885196.jpgin this picture you can see the small pin that I wrapped in Teflon tape. I used about 1 inch peice of tape, put the pin in the center and rolled it the length of the tape. Then I cut the tape on one side and slide it in the spot without the threaded section in. uploadfromtaptalk1399333997698.jpgthe female threaded post (where the magnet screws into) I applied some grease (not to heavy) then slide the threaded section back one. uploadfromtaptalk1399334079341.jpgonce I put that section back together, I cut the excess Teflon tape from the pin. Side the threaded section up and down a few times to get the grease worked in. The I soaked a q tip in some isopropyl alcohol to clean up left over grease.

You might have to do the tape part a few times to get it to fit right and take away the fire button twist/wobble. The grease helps the magnets move way easier because the top magnet (battery side) pushes down which slides the thread section up and down making it really smooth.

Let me know what ya come up with!

hmmm

what exactly is "teflon tape"? seems that it's might thin...

This is Teflon tape uploadfromtaptalk1399337266117.jpg its used for plumbing and gas line connections. It's really cheap, you can find it at Walmart, home Depot, Lowe's, where ever.

It is really thin, it's used to make a seal with connections (shower heads, faucets, blah blah blah)

i dunno man

seems like a serious POS rt now... will only fire if I push it directly in the middle, and then not always.

I can't even fire it while holding it, not really. Maybe 1/10 times.

Mines been doing that today too. I have to push dead center to fire. Maybe I'll take it apart and do a good cleaning.

I dunno, maybe

This thing isn't firing most of the time no matter how I hit it. Like, it will fire a few times, and then with nothing different just stop and misfire like 15 times.

Unless something changes drastically it's going back in the morning. I don't need dvices that act like this in my life.
