Here is where the problem is, they may not win but force SE to defend them self's, and if state after state do the same thing SE goes BK.

They have pulled this stuff before, the gov't can keep taking them to court endlessly, it's not right and I hope the judge, goes after brown instead.

As I said in another thread that discusses the Brown suit, if I were SE's California attorney, I would file a Motion to Dismiss, attaching a copy of Judge Leon's Opinion.

I would ask for a ruling that Brown pay the court costs and SE's attorney expenses.

The great thing about all this is that if it's litigated, and e-cigarettes are established by the courts the way SE's doing it, then there's no pressure to pass legislation on the subject. E-cigs are simply covered under existing law. Let them litigate. These are things that need to be hammered out by precident.

Edmund "Jerry" Brown: He's the former gov. ("Governor Moonbeam" as he was known) of Calif. in the 70s.

His position on e-cigs and Smoking Everywhere in particular may not be as complicated as you've laid out. Quite possibly he's been called into action by a contingency of anti-smoking advocates. However, he does have a tendency to invest in spectacular episodes of self-promotional grandstanding. But the guy does have a set-in-stone philosophy of what's right and what's wrong, and this could simply be a ruse of his own making.

Sounds to me like he did too many real drugs in the 70's....

Why hasn't other sellers join in SE's fight on this stuff, if they all went together, then they would have a much better chance, at cutting off this stuff before it even starts in other states.

Brown is going to look to settle ASAP because of Leon's decision - and the fact that he'll be running for governor and can't afford to look like a fool when he loses.

Hope Edmund G. Brown Jr. gets counter sued and has to live on the street picking up other people cig butts to suck a little joy out of his miserable existence.On top of that , hope some of those used cig butts have lipstick on em so people confuse him for a male boywonder of the streets.
