Tried a "traditional" microchip and the vertical... For obvious reasons I stayed with the vertical. So much taste, so much vapor, so much throat hit... The Russian with a vertical microcoil is like a big brother to the ProTank et al with a vertical microcoil. There's a reason I have my PTs around as backups (I've long since learned to have backups for your backups...).
At any rate, keep on vaping, everyone!![]()

Not sure about the wraps for 32, but with 30 around a 1/16" drill bit, ~5 wraps gives you ~1Ω. With a PV like yours, I'd stick to somewhere between 2Ω - 3Ω, leaning towards 2.5Ω - 3Ω. I had great luck right around 2.5Ω with my Ego clone, a Smokeless Image X2. Do you have a meter of some kind to check your wire's resistance (even a cheap Wally-World meter will give you at least a ball park figure, though I prefer a digital multimeter...Man, this looks sweet! Question tho. all I have available to me ATM is 32ga kanthal. Would this work? If so how many wraps should I use? also my battery is just the cheap 650mAh joytech passthru. Would this cause issues? Thanks for the tek and rock on!

OK, waay off topic, but when I first found this thread I didn't realize how small these things actually are. LOL, some of these pics look like you guys are re-building a strut on the kitchen floor!

Its possible, I use 32g, but you'd be doing it a little different. The coil and the wick method would be different. Your battery is a big factor as well. I think Your best bet for what you've got is a smaller coil of 32 for around 2-2.4 ohms using the wick method I use in the Vcore thread. You'll just run your legs down instead. You could do a twisted 32 ~10/11 wrap @around 1.8 to be able to use the same coil and wick pack method Bsd uses. But you lack the power to push the twisted 32 effectively. Meaning it would heat up really slow and run your battery down quick. Either way a more powerful mod will make them work better.
Make sure your long leg is the ground wire.
(11-12 wrapped 1/16 of 32 is 3+ ohms) -
