How do people come up with these names?
The creator of the Dead Rabbit is Irish.
The Dead Rabbits were an Irish gang from the "Gangs of NY" movie.
The creator of the Drop collaborated with the Dead Rabbit creator, and the Drop Dead was born.

You probably won't win any cloud comps with a single coil but I can make clouds big enough that I have to turn my head to exhale when driving or watching TV or it will obstruct my view.
I like my clouds. I get huge clouds. Ive heard single coils give better flavor but some have told me its a matter pf preference.

The Cosmonaut coils r centered. It was made to drip through the top.
Not necessarily lined up close to the center. For me, a dual coil build with the coils lined up close to the center simply doesn't work at all so I always position my coils close to the air holes instead:

Further, I don't use my CSMNT RDAs without a Shawty cap. The smaller chamber size of the Shawty cap is a worthy upgrade to flavor.

I have a few single coil attys. I use SS quad core claptons in them and i seem to get about the same vapor with them as my dual coils with faster ramp up time. I prefer single to dual for my mechanicals personally.

Here is a super cloudy velocity deck RDA I used to run. I have not ran it for a long time now. It is a Vape Breed v2.

I also have a MCM Underground 24mm. It is also very cloudy, and with the postless deck, you can get the coils very close to the center and drip through the tip easily.

Dude... and I mean no offense by this, but uh, do you have ADHD perhaps? A mood disorder? IDK, I've just never seen such a quick reversal concerning an atomizer, then nearly throwing it in the trash???

Confusion. I mean, I get getting frustrated by a build but BELIEVE YOU ME, WOW. You're almost talking me out of getting the Layercake, I was THIS CLOSE only my bank account was stopping me.

LOL, if it's hard to build that's probably good information for THIS builder with fine motor tremor because seriously there have been times I have been THIS CLOSE to throwing a pie in the trash, because it was just THAT HARD to wrap it properly in tinfoil.

Oh well, I have both, I think I might recognize the symptoms but it's yoga time, so go easy on me @Ephraim Cooper . But, I knew there was a reason I secretly liked you.

LOL, also: CLONES ARE FOR THIS REASON TRY A CLONE (Lostronaut) then support the maker by buying an original if a) you like it b) you don't want to throw it in the trash when you build it c) when you remember to do it.

    Good times.

I got over my mad spell. Im back to using my layercake. It gives the best flavor of any rda out there as far as Im concerned. Last night I changed the coils with no problem. Today was a nightmare. But if ur thinking of the layercake District 5fves website has it for just $55. Once u get passed the build u wont regret it. I do have ADHD by the way. I take medications. I see a shrink every 3 months. Im easily frusterated.

A single coil setup doesn't necessarily always consume less juice and battery life. Meet the 30mm Deathtrap RDA.

very true... I can build dual coil attys that use less juice and power than a single coil...and vice versa. I'd assume the OP will use 1 fused clapton as opposed to two as he's stated it's the only wire he will use.

Its not that I wont use a different wire. Ive wasted so much money on wire my wife cut me off. I have 30 spools of every wite u can think of not counting premaids. I finally found a wire that ohms high heats up quick and puts out plenty of vapor. So Im sticking with it. If my wife sees another spool of wire Ive bought Id be divorced. So I stick to what I found to work the best and stay married. She uses the same wire also.

Anyway if u didnt the layercake is great just hard to build on. It takes some time to get used to. But u only have to build every 4 months. So its worth the frustration. I highly recommend it. For 55 bucks u wont find a better more flavorable rda. Its still my favorite and I use it the most. Its flavor is slightly more intense then the Cosmonaut. Ill use it for a very long time.

Sure that's true. You can build SIX 1.5mm dia 6 wrap coils using 32ga Kanthal and use less juice and power than a single 5mm dia 9 wrap coil using framed staples, aliens, etc. That isn't really comparing apples to apples though is it? Which is why when I brought it up, I specifically said "using the SAME COIL".

LOL yeah the Layercake sounds like it would be so not right for me, LOL, not just the duals but the clouds, etc.

I do want to claim 1/1 on my internet diagnosis skills. Glad you got out of the frustration. I really like velocity decks personally due to ease of trapping a wire. As far as fiendish but awesome RTAs for me to build, well I'm going to have to give that honor to the doggy style RTA which I love the flavor of, but which also has been violently expelled from my hands (LOL not ALWAYS accidentally, but sometimes. I'm kind of happy it's not a glass tank frankly, it has skittered across my floor on more than one occasion. It's the dang flat head screws they really suck.

I think there is a ton of overlap between flavor and clouds in rebuildables anyway. Sometimes it just becomes a matter of preference. If I want more wire to vaporize more juice and more flavor I will be likely to install a single coil build Every. Last. Time, because it's just an easier way of achieving what I want.

Duals are like twice the work, for half the resistance. As a high resistance, ADHD builder my immediate, irritable response is NO WAY. But fortunately, my creator also made me highly favor MTL setups so I really have plenty of options (except that first build "the Russian 91%" or whatever it was called. It was my first build it took me the better part of a day and a TON of ECF cliff notes. I still own it, and proudly look at it every now and then and go, "Wow, what an extreme train wreck that was, thank God I NEVER have to build it again,": sort of fondly. LOL.

I did not even put duals in it, but one coil on the diagonal.

I getcha buddy....but you quoted a post that had nothing to do with what I said to you relating to your double everything post. You quoted a post that was a response to Dripster.

The gr1 is the only thing I use now. Flavor is intense. I have 6 of them setting across most of my squonk mods.
I love mine. I traded out the 22mm/510 for 24mm/810 and it is still intense I had to cut some with unflavored because it was too strong for my taste.
