The Asmodus×Vapeporn Vault is a velocity/clamp style build deck. It has holes below the screws that you can feed wire through or you can put both leads through the top clamps if you prefer. It is a good rda for multi core flat wire in that configuration. Normal velocity decks have screws that come in from the side and you need to either use round wires or single core claptons or you can put a little 1/4 twist in multi core flat claptons legs

Back on the dripping over centered coils: in a velocity style deck, and plenty of others, all you have to do to drip on the coils is tilt the thing 10 to 15 degrees to one side, drip drip drip, 10 degrees to the other side, drip drip drip....
Coils centered under the mouthpiece lead to diminished flavor and a much higher chance of getting a hot kiss from your rda with a gob of spitback, for me.

LOL yeah the Layercake sounds like it would be so not right for me, LOL, not just the duals but the clouds, etc.

I do want to claim 1/1 on my internet diagnosis skills. Glad you got out of the frustration. I really like velocity decks personally due to ease of trapping a wire. As far as fiendish but awesome RTAs for me to build, well I'm going to have to give that honor to the doggy style RTA which I love the flavor of, but which also has been violently expelled from my hands (LOL not ALWAYS accidentally, but sometimes. I'm kind of happy it's not a glass tank frankly, it has skittered across my floor on more than one occasion. It's the dang flat head screws they really suck.

I think there is a ton of overlap between flavor and clouds in rebuildables anyway. Sometimes it just becomes a matter of preference. If I want more wire to vaporize more juice and more flavor I will be likely to install a single coil build Every. Last. Time, because it's just an easier way of achieving what I want.

Duals are like twice the work, for half the resistance. As a high resistance, ADHD builder my immediate, irritable response is NO WAY. But fortunately, my creator also made me highly favor MTL setups so I really have plenty of options (except that first build "the Russian 91%" or whatever it was called. It was my first build it took me the better part of a day and a TON of ECF cliff notes. I still own it, and proudly look at it every now and then and go, "Wow, what an extreme train wreck that was, thank God I NEVER have to build it again,": sort of fondly. LOL.

I did not even put duals in it, but one coil on the diagonal.

For your Pulse I would suggest an Ammit bf rda or vapefly Galaxies, or a GR1. I use the GRI as a DL but it can be set up as a great MTL with the different AF inserts and 510 DT. The Ammit Af comes in at the top and comes out by the coils. Should be pretty leakproof. The Galaxies has SAF and should be leak resistant. The GR1 is easy to oversquonk. Until you get used to squonking it may be more frustrating than it's worth. Once you are more comfortable it is an awesome atty.

Sure that's true. You can build SIX 1.5mm dia 6 wrap coils using 32ga Kanthal and use less juice and power than a single 5mm dia 9 wrap coil using framed staples, aliens, etc. That isn't really comparing apples to apples though is it? Which is why when I brought it up, I specifically said "using the SAME COIL".
Comparing apples to apples is too boring IMO. We need more variation! :D

I use the gr1 with the 510 and small airflows. It is restricted, but definitely not an MTL kind of restricted.

I was thinking you could turn the cap and clise off one of the 2mm holes and it would be tight enough for mtl. I think the ammit would be more up her alley. The berserker is highly regarded for mtl bf as well.

It is still a bit too loose to call it a loose MTL draw set up like that. The gr1 is designed for restricted lung hits.

That looks like it would be a pain to keep all the coils equally wet.
It comes with a wide bore drip tip so you can more easily aim directly onto the coils when you drip, and, you can force the juice to leave the juice wells by tilting horizontal one side at a time with the air holes pointing in horizontal directions so the juice doesn't leak out as it spreads itself evenly between the post and the cap. Another bonus with this RDA is you don't have to drip it very often because, trust me, it really does spontaneously solve the problem of wanting to chain vape.

I hate squonking.
I have gotten into squonking and RTAs and never looked back. I get the same flavor and vapor and it is much more convenient than dripping. I used tube mechs and drippers for over 4 years and I guess I am over it. My tube mechmods are museum pieces and testers for DIY now. I like going out without carrying extra batteries and bottle of juice. The Pulse holds 8ml of juice and I modified one to fit a 21700 battery which is more than enough for a day of work. I don't miss dripping and driving my stick shift car either. Keep an open mind and find what works best for you.
