Well it should be ok then. If you really want to be sure, put an empty battery in the mod, start charging it and after half an hour, touch the wires that go between the charging circuit and the board. Mildly warm is your limit and it will probably not charging at full 500mah if the wires get warm. If they are hot, your wires are too thin.

Warmth only means that some electrons aren't making it to the other side and are wasted in heat. Not really good. Ideally you don't want to have any heat on them but it's not an ideal world.

Did i miss something, seems these have disappeared from FT and all the SKU's point to just chips?

My box was shipped from FT just before the Chinese New Year break ... they were back ordered and the CS agent I was dealing with via email tried to get me to cancel and reorder when the come back in stock ... I was like "no thanks, that means I'll go to the end of the line", and strangely enough it shipped a couple days later.

Well if it were diameter then maybe but in depth there shouldn't be that of a difference. :)

So you don't have any lateral or vertical play?

I wanted 2mm depth so I would have enough room in the door to cover the holes with a couple of screw heads.

Thx for the information btw. :)

No play at all. I set the 3 mm drill bit to go 3 mm in depth and somehow I had to use a slight pressure to stuck them in.

Very nice, thank you.

I will try to install my magnets in my current old case. If it works, I will have the experience to replicate it in my new case or just leave the idea if things don't go as planned.

Ps: that butcher marks you can see on the case weren't made by me. That's why I need a new case to start over... :(

Some nice screw heads could look cool. I just drilled them through an put a drop of clear epoxy glue in there. Looks nice as well.

Does anyone know where I can get a empty hana case that doesnt use the prefitted screwed cradles I am in the UK?

Not quite sure what you mean but with the mod cases floating around you can simply not use the cradle if you don't want to use it? You can use foam tape or glue instead. Stealthvape got it and lots of other supplies.
