Yeah... A zero clone would be cool especially if the new 350j would fit in there later.

It's 83mm high right? :/

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

It's got an sx300 chip in it now. I think an Sx350 standard size chip will fit right in, what I don't know is if the J series is going to be based on what I call the "standard" series of the SX350 Mini series. If standard then yes it'll fit right in. The other problem in my book if FT want $69 for the mod. Add the cost of a standard SX350 ($70) to that and your talking $140 for a mod you gotta rebuild yourself. I think the YiHi made SX Mini Mod will be coming out with a temp control mod soon at around $180. The Mini is getting great reviews from most of the YouTube gang and I think I want one but, will wait for the temp control version. Does that last make sense?

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

It does make sense. But at 95mm hardly a mini. The design looks great though and the molded part is a step up from normal square box mods.

My understanding is it's built really well, too.

The sx mini is awesome if you go by reviews.
Accurate and cool as all get out with the auto rotation screen.

I am cheerleading for evolv to put out a high powered mod
if they would have done that instead of temp
control their market share would be even more stupid good right now.

Mech guys on fb are loving the high power reg mods, its what they always wanted lol..

There many satirical videos about evolv's dna 40's out there they are funny to..
Hitler is Brandon and he is ........

They made high power reg a need then dropped the ball @ 40w and are now caught repairing r&d'ing
when they should be dropping the 500w monster mash chipset lol..
You'll never outgrow it.. :vapor:

Here's one of the vids it is kinda funny lol.. The others have to much cussin..
Its all over fb

That God mod looks beautiful... A bit high for my taste but beautiful. [emoji14]

Why didn't the designer moved the 510 connector to the electronic side and save 10mm height?

I assume you mean the Zero mod and yeah it does look beautiful and I had the same thought about the battery. One possible problem could be the rounded edge though as a 22mm might overhang.

And hurray! I finally found the energy to build my second FT hana DNA40 box mod! :) :p :)

My first DIY box was just getting too annoying lol. The real buttons are soo much better! I just hope my new DNA40 chip doesn't crap out on me because it's all hotGLUEd in! Hotglue forever!

Mine is stuck in a warehouse in Germany... I'll hopefully get it next week.

I have a new ft mini hana on its way. Should provide a good base to work with. ;)

Tony, where are you getting that hana mini? FT no longer sell them. If I go the link it shows MODZ Pack D-NA 30 Mod VW Modules instead :|

They are selling the minis ( https://www.fasttech.com/products/1729200 )

What they probably aren't selling are the enclosures.

The point is that the mini enclosure is only 68mm tall. It's virtually impossible to fit a 18650 and wires in there. The mini mod however is 72mm tall so with some grinding and milling, you can enlarge the battery compartment to 68mm which is enough for both battery and wires :)

You seem to be in search of the small TP mod...soon, very soon some of the mini-mods will be out with the Chinese TP chip.
What I would really want is a mod / enclosure around 70-75mm high with a fitted 18650 battery and enough space to put a TP board (evolve or not).

The hard part isn't grinding but figuring a way of making that huge battery easily replaceable in minimal space.

My latest experiment is going well, going to post a pic later today.

Ok. Remember this is the old enclosure that is being used for test purposes only. The chip is a Chinese one and don't pay attention to the wire colors, I just wanted to see if the connectors would fit.

These are 2mm connectors rated at 40 amps peak, 10 amps continuous (20 amps for half an hour)

Hmm, I think my Chinese charger board is toast... Been vaping for an hour and just plugged a USB cable into the charger but all I get is a green light... It's showing full on the monitor but the battery has been used for an hour now... Not good. Need to check if I didn't break any of the charging cables during installation. I had to twist the board left and right to fit it in place (and use as minimum hot glue as possible). Dammit :(

Problem solved. I broke the positive wire during install.

Have you guys ever needed to solder something and could out of 10 soldering irons only find the one that is completely wrong for the job (read that as 8W smd soldering iron)?

I would have heat up the wire faster rubbing it with my bare hands
