Thanks KTM, Laurie and otherguy. Appreciate the tips and help. Can't wait to get started. Should be fun!
If you bend the legs "closed " underneath the switch, they will lay down on top of each other, (in the pic it looks like a crab standing up, bend them so it's sitting down) soldier them on top of each other then soldier a wire to each pair. That will save you room and make a better connection .
Off Topic but, I like Hana Mods, But one 18650 is just not enough battery for me. So I built this..........
The first mod to my mini was to replace the fake AW 18490 1100mah with a Turnigy 1200mah Lipo. I used Deans Micro Plugs. The battery sled came out easily but noticed before that it was made for a skinnier battery... like a AA batteryI really wonder what these guys were thinking sometimes.
I used 18g wire with adhesive lined heat shrink tubing and 3M electrical tape to cover the ends. There's about a 6-8mm gap in the battery compartment so I had to put a couple of plastic washers to fill the gap so the batteries don't move around.

Hello everyone New to this thread and planning on embarking on my first DIY pretty soon, once i've assembled all that is needed and have done quite a bit of research taking in a lot of information. Have been trying to read up and catch up on this thread as well. Planning on starting off with a "hana" style enclosure with a few different changes of course. WOndering if there is anything i should know to make the project run smoother?
