Burned Atty!!

I stuck my 510 in my pocket before getting into my truck today, got in, put on the seatbelt and started backing out of the parking spot when all of a sudden my leg was on fire!!! The seatbelt was pressing the button.

Now the atty stinks and tastes HORRIBLE!! I know there's an atty cleaning thread on here somewhere, but darned if I can find it. Can someone point me in the right direction.

I'm not sure a burnt out atty can be saved, most cleaning methods revive a mistreated or overly flooded atty.

I had a protege and a Njoy that did fairly well the same thing.

It will always taste a little funny but not always too noticable, Just clean it and see if you can work through it until the taste fades out.

You are probably wondering how it happened to the Njoy, I got a defective battery that continually put electricity through to the atty, It got red hot, And tasted horrible for the first day after, And also melted the cartridge.
I have a new one on the way right now. I don't notice much of the bad taste right now, But it is still not up too par. (Drip a strong tasting juice on it too help)

I did the mouthwash soak, and it's as good as new!!
