Well, hello again, Br! And welcome to the 'other' side. Nice to see you.

This giant carto from Madvapes is a new addition to the carto scene. We discussed it briefly earlier, Salt was considering ordering it, actually, but I'm not sure whether he actually did or not.

From what I gathered, it's a 2.5Ω Bauway on steroids. I lilke Bauway cartos a lot because of their moderate resistance, which I find very nice on the eGo/Riva/Tornado class batteries--3.1-3.2v under load, or so I've been told by Scottbee who had tested them extensively.

I don't own anything with the 801 thread so I didn't order the carto, but I don't think one can go wrong with a Bauway. They make good atties and good 510 cartos.

Glad to hear about TruVapor cartos. i just bought a bunch of the BOGE version. so i'll get some in a couple weeks. let us know if they are what they should be!

about the 4081 cartos.... <$6 for a pack of blanks is a great deal. didn't check shipping. but they are in AZ. US supplier is good, and close to SoCal is even better! I'd be interested to try them. the SS cartos just don't do it for me. work is slow though. VERY SLOW. so i'm trying to not spend any money i dont HAVE to.

also about the 801 cartos... i never did order any. i have always been interested in an 801, but never made the jump. so i'd need to get a matching battery and a charger (unless it'll work with the universal (kr8/510) charger I have... adapters don't seem to work right for me.
--> again, an expense I don't need right now.

but i'll more than likely be checking them out in the future. always wanted a whistle tip carto (something easier to fill than the EGO cartos).
Also think it's really cool you can get both the mini and penstyle cartos.

I'm getting pretty tired of being a Guinea pig and was hoping that someone here would give me a break for a change. The larger penstyle atty produces a cooler vape that I really like and I am thinking that the cartomizer will do that too. I've had good results with my adapters, so finding the best voltage for one should not be a problem.

I should have my TruVapor 510s shortly. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'm using Boges and I sorta like them. They last forever but they don't taste as clean as the TruVapors, IMO.

I sent an email to the vendor of the 4081s (they also sell 510s) asking some basic questions, I'll let you know what they say.

Buying a battery and a charger just to try a carto seems a bit extravagant, don't you think. I might try an adapter, though. See the review below.

Thanks for finding the 801 report. At least it is a favorable one, so that should help me make up my mind. I have a bunch of E2's still in the box tho, and may wait until I hear more about the 801's before giving them a try.

I haven't tried out the 801 cartos either but that review is promising.

My last review on the E2 cartos version 3.75555566666777788888 or whatever version they are.
The biggest problem for me is the wick in these. I've fooled with the wicks since I first got them. I can "fix" them so the wick works better but it's a pain. I don't know if Rev4 redesigns the wick so far haven't seem a mention of this. Vapor and th is good but performance seems inconsistent to me. They do last a long time and have a clean taste but I find myself refilling the cup when it's about halfway done due to flavor loss. I'm not at all convinced the cup is better than using fill. IF there was a carto with more burn resistant fill I'd consider that over the cup. So full circle around .
Plus the quality control issue seems a big one with this company. Noticing people ordering hundreds of E2s and getting junk is not promising.

Next I'm going to start trying the 510 LR cartos. After using LR cartos nothing else satisfies me. (That was for you Scott)

I did like the E2 510XL LR cartos. If anyone sees large 510 LR cartos around I'd appreciate a mention of where you saw them and if you tried them.

Regarding the E2's, I've managed to get by with them fairly well. Every now and then I run across one that is outstanding and I can't imagine how anything else could be better. But then, that's just me, my juice, and the way I use them. Fortunately, my nicotine requirement is low and it doesn't take much to please me. Unfortunately, quality control is terrible for these things and the really good ones are few and far between.

I should be getting some samples of the latest versions in here today, which will include your .......ized version. If anyone on this thread is interested, I'll be glad to post my opinions.
