Thanks Tib, Br, Nic. Done.

Here's another list, this time of the most popular vendors. Please help me update it, add your favorite vendors, recommendations etc. To be added to the Master.

510 cartomizers:

-Ikenvape: SLB 3.5Ω , Boge 2.3-2.5Ω
-Good Prophets: 3.0Ω 510s, unknown manufacturer
-Provapes: LR ~1.8Ω cartos, manufacturer (Boge and SLB?) (Kent uses and likes them)
-Litecig: Boge and SLB (free shipping over $15)
-madvapes: Boge, Bauway
-Vaporkings: Boge & SLB
-Nhaler: HR 3.4Ω (?) 510 cartos, man. unknown, Boge?
-Altsmoke: Boge
-Cloudsofvapor: Boge and CoV LR (1.8-2.0Ω) (not Boge)
-Cigeasy: Boge
-Eastmall: Boge
-Liquidxpress: Boge
-Ecigsupply: Boge (they have a quantity discount)
-Cigtechs: look like Boge from the picture (?)
-Rocky Mountain Vapor: Boge
-Vaporstation: Boge (?) to be updated, he's getting new cartos (?)
-WordupEcig: 3.0Ω cartos, similar to SLB but not quite as good, free shipping

katya, i'm going to give it one more try and email trueman to see if they have a us vendor and why they changed something that was working so well

Aww, thank you so much, Tib. I really, really loved those cartos. The 4081s with horizontal coil were the best. Then they changed the design and it was never the same with the vertical coil. But even with the vertical coil, I had some wonderful 510 cartos, and some, well, not quite so wonderful. I know that Ross from Vapors Etc. has been trying to figure out what is going on with their cartos. But the more people bug them, the more likely they may be to respond. Heck, I may send them an email too.

Again, thanks. And please stop changing your avatar. I saw that little beast first thing in the morning and almost had a heart attack. What on earth was that? A bat?

Katya, you may want to add Nhaler as another source for this one. The Mega 510's I have from there were in a Dekang box and measure 3.0Ω. The web site states a bit higher ohm rating, but maybe their measurement did not allow for lead resistance.

That's cunfusing. Are they Kanger? And yes, he lists them at 3.4Ω.

I just sent a PM to Drew.

They may be different now, but mine from Nhaler are in boxes exactly like these:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...1-etc-filler-type-cartos-295.html#post2141069

My Turbo KR808's from VaporNine are in the same type box and look just like them, except for the fitting.

Yup. That's why we suspect that they are made by Bogetech (Dekang/Boge?). Possibly tweaked according to different vendors' specifications/requests, but Boge nonetheless. But we're just guessing, of course.

I'm totally confused now. I misunderstood your post. I don't know why I mentioned Kanger. So Bogetech and Dekang/Boge are the same company? Or two different animals? Anybody?

Thanks for all your help, Br. I got my E2s to work. The regular 3.0Ω ones are really nice, after all. I hear that CoV's new batch is clean, so is madvapes'. I think I'm going to try the 2.5Ω now.

I'm glad you're finally getting some use out of those nasty things. If the 3.0Ω ones are a bit weak for you, then the 2.5Ω versions may be the way to go. They'll be somewhat hotter, tho.

As promised, here's an updated list of recommended cartomizers, by model.
...

LOVE YOU! :muah:

i think BOGE is a subsidiary of DeKang. pretty sure i read that somewhere.
(maybe DK makes the juice, and lets BogeTech handle the hardware ???)

Kr808D-1

-VaporNine Turbos
-Nhaler Mega cartomizers
-V4L CoolCarts
-CigEasy Gold Label
Vertical wire - 3.1-3.4Ω
Solid performers, possibly all made by Boge, but they are not identical. Some work a bit better than others, especially when not overstuffed, which seems to be a problem with many cartomizers lately. Recommended for all new kr8 users at 3.7v batteries (standard kr808 D-1); and up to 5v (especially VaporNine Turbos and Nhaler Megas.)

Also in this category and my current 808 fave due to price:

Ditto from me, especially the thank you part. GP had horizontal ones in one batch I bought, never to be seen again. :(

Makes sense. Muah to you too.

Really? A cartomizer I haven't tried! Manufacturer unknown? Ohm rating unknown? Could they be made by Boge?

Neo, have you tried IkenVape's giant kr808 cartomizer? Really interesting. Very nice taste, huge capacity, very warm vape. I just took a few puffs off of one, but I like it.

What? That's your standard KR808D-1 cartomizer isn't it? The ones from way back when that have been around forever. Run either side of 3.0Ω (more just under than over)

I think Rob at AltSmoke is clearing his out at $4.95 a box (blanks).
