Also, I just posted some recent results of one that I am testing at this time. So far, I have not been able to burn the filler in it.

Yeah, I just saw it.

Then instead of vaping, I blew the remaining vapor out through the battery fittings while pressing the button. This took a bit of doing, but eventually there was nothing but hot air coming from it. The atty got hot enough during these times to make the battery end hot, so I removed it several times and blew through the carto to cool it down. This eventually accomplished somewhat of a dry burn.

You did what??? Could we see a video? :vapor:

Thanks for the reviews Tib, Katya and LGD. Nicely done.

I get that metallic taste too with the E2s. And for a disposable item it's too much work getting it to work right. . And the taste with them has never been that good - at least for me. I read about the Gaintomizer and though it sounds ok the QC will probably be at the same level as the E2s.

So we wait for the cartomizer that works right when we take it out of the box.

LGD, this thing is different inside than any I have seen. The atty is in the base fitting and will probably be more prone to leaking if it is dripped like the old KR8's. I haven't tried it that way, so I may be telling you a lie.

If you can make head or tails of my photos, maybe you can figure out how it works.

Well I broke down and did it.. I took the filler out and I am dripping on it like an atty (I know this isn't what this thread is about) you are right, and I expected as much, that it does leak out a bit, but no more than dripping on say a 901 atty. 3 drops is enough (I keep the senter 'sock') it's a nice clean vape.

I wouldn't imagine you will burn the filler since it really doesn't make contact with the element, unless you push the filler down too far while fiddliing with it. this goes for the GenJoye, and GreenCig cartos that have filler that 'hover' over the element. These are worthy contenders and look forward to hearing more of your test results. Thanks

Not yet. They have great potential, but we're not there yet. With resistance all over the place, we're playing Russian roulette here with those cartomizers. Some work great out of the box, and work well for awhile, but the performance diminishes quickly due to too much heat, IMO. Others develop that dreaded burnt taste early on.

That's what I gathered. Thanks for the summary!

I noticed that burnt juice flavor too. I hate that! ruins a perfectly good carto. thats why i quit the V4L cartos. I havnt had any problems with that on my BOGE 2ohms.

..

Oh, and Royal Smokers... Pretty sure they mean Giant, not gain...

A Freudian slip, perchance?

Mesa, AZ...off the analogs for years!
You don't need a video. If you have a manual battery you can do it yourself. Just blow instead of suck when you push the button and the vapor will come out at the battery connection.

I'm going to try this out. The Trueman 808's I got from Ross is the same deal...don't burn, just get gunked up. Worth trying to see if I can get a bit more life out of 'em.

It's ok. It's a mute point since Bad claimed credit for it anyway. haha

LOL Mute is the last word I'd use for the threads on the E2s.

So I was thinking my favorite carto is still the Joye Ego cartomizer. The big problem I had was the battery connector falling out on quite a few of them.

After reading Kent's opinions on the Ego atomizer I realized that's probably what I should be trying next. So full circle around and back to atomizers.
