BTW, I still love my tankomizers.

I've been following this thread for many months but somehow must have missed the info about your "tankomizer" .. can you tell me what it is and where you got it? Although I have several mods, I still use my KR808 all the time, my personal preference are the HR Boge 808's that Ross has at VaporsEtc, but am now intrigued to learn what your tankomizer is.

If I had to guess, it won't be the equipment that becomes outlawed, it will be the Nic juice.
I'm thinking of ordering a large quantity of nic only for future mixing.

Agree wholeheartedly on the thick dark juices killing carto's Katya. I've tried everything to use Johnson Creek Dk Choc, and even thinned it down w/30% vodka. It still kills em.

Hello, Stash, and welcome to the Burning thread!

My favorite go-to setup is the Ego-T contraption, consisting of a specially designed atomizer and fillerless tanks. There are dozens of threads analyzing the pros and cons of this new system and they are worth reading.

The system is designed to work with all the eGo/Riva/Tornado class fat batteries. They look like this:

https://www.cignot.com/category_s/67.htm

And this is my favorite video showing how to use them:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-ovale-ego-t-two-weeks-short-review-tips.html

This is the most definitive and comprehensive thread, started by our Italian friend Ournature, who was one of the first users of the Ego-T system when it was first introduced in Europe. The thread is almost as long as this one, but you can safely skip the first half of it. It's all there--anything you want to know (and things you don't want to know).

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/139915-new-ego-tank-system.html

If you are really curious but have no interest in investing in the new eGo or Riva, you can just order an atty and a box of tanks (just don't buy the black ones as they are opaque and you can't see how much juice there's left in the tank) and try them, with an kr808>501 adapter, on your kr808 battery. It looks funny, but it works (just ask Neo). You can get an adapter from Good Prophets for $0.99. (You can get an eGo-t atty and tanks from GP also).

Many other vendors carry them, shop around for a good price; Liberty Flights, Volcano, Clouds of Vapor, FMUSA, just to name a few. Keep in mind that almost everyone is temprarily out of stock due to the Chinese New Year holidays, but they should be restocking as we speak.

Hello Piggy! Have you tried the BWB Cafe Mocha? It's not chocolate, nobody can make a good chocolate, IMO, but is is nice and sweet and has lovely chocolate undertone and vapes really clean. That is, if you like coffee flavors.

And you're right about the nicotine. They can't ban batteries, for goodness sake. On the other hand, they are banning sugar and salt and toys in Happy Meals, so who knows what's next...

Thanks Katya .. for putting ALL the info in this one post .. really appreciate it and going to check out the videos and then order. I was out of town for a month, that must have been when you were posting about it. Appreciate you posting all this info!

Yeah, Katya, that's the deal - my go-tos are all sweet, extra-punch juices, and that's not gonna change. So I think I'll try those Boges, but resign myself for now to a little scorch. And yeah, Albany is total nincompoopery, but not gonna stop this girl whatever they decide, if decision is the right word for those abominations they keep producing.

Fire sale? Classifieds? You are talking about my STASH... you must be kidding... (clutching handfuls of batts and bottles to heaving bosom)...

Actually Katya. I'm not generally into sweet flavors, and that is why I like the J.C., Dk, Choc. Far from sweet, but boy does it kill a carto.

On coffees, I'm a coffee fanatic in real life (non vape), and run to the best of coffee shops, so I'm spoiled that way. I attempted a coffee vape, and about gagged.

So if I want to ""test a carto"" for burn and longevity, if it will survive J.C., Choc, it will survive anything. So far the Bloog has done fair, but still singed. My WordUp in a 510 format has held up quite well, but still not perfect.

I hope Neo will stop by; she's the last die-hard kr808 user here and she may give you her input. Most of us have either switched to the 510 and/or mods, tanks and such...

Tweety, I hardly recognized you. :?:

I must say I still love me some 808's.

In sum, I've yet to see a burned horizontal. Instead, they suffer from "juice gunk on the coil syndrome".

So in this category you have Bloog (still waiting for consistency) and the 808's Ross carries (which he won't after he sells out).

The 3.3 here:
Vapors Etc.- Parts

For the vertical, Cool Carts (v4L), Vapor Nine and these from Lite Cig (cheapest):
KR808d-1 PREMIUM Blank Cartomizers

Yes, they burn but until they burn, I like 'em. They feel like a ciggie and they are minimum bother. Easy to change flavors too.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I am enjoying the Ego-T. I'm slightly dissatisfied with flavor but not enough to be unhappy with them. They are convenient, no doubt. I've had better luck with some flavors, than others.

And Katya, you'll be happy to know I have an Ego batt now and it ain't bad. I had a bad problem with a charger from Good Prophets (it literally melted my batt but not my house thankfully!). So Rob ended up sending me a batt and charger for it. I don't think I'll be going for the jumbo size but the 650 is a good size for me and fits fairly well in my hand. The button, I don't know. I take a lot of dead drags. :p

Thanks so much for all the update guys... I'll be watching for the Definitive Breakthrough. (Having better luck w/Ikenvape's megas - soaking the center more and letting 'em sit - just dissected one I've been chain-vaping on PT for a few days and it's totally unscorched. That's better...) Neo, I'm w/you on 808's.

Aren't those just giant Kangers? You mean you're soaking the center air tube with juice? That will usually gunk up a carto faster than anything. More info please.

I dunno if they're giant Kangers. :) And ya, I drop some down the center hole these days, per some people's advice - nothing's gunking up so far and it actually is helping the scorch. I know it's controversial, but whatever works. I've experimented with a zillion carto fill methods in the past year and am always experimenting still, it's an evolving art-form, ya?

I've spent my weekend reading every thread I could find on cartomizers, and my brain is on overload. All I have is a kr808d1, like the size/feel/battery life, and have no desire to switch to a bigger model at this time.

My V4L cartos (wow & cool) have been inconsistent. I want to try the whole bloog system, so I'm holding off on their cartos until they restock their batts. However they also appear to be inconsistent from all that I've read.

I vape sweet flavors from KBV (60/40 VG/PG), Southern Ambrosia (60/40 VG/PG), PureVapes (80/20 PG/VG) & Juicy Vapor (reduced PG).

I have ordered some jumbos from Ikenvape, and a pack of clearomizers, but I don't have them yet.

So really what are my best options? The Vapors Etc 3.3 mentioned above in Neo's post? Or is time to branch out & try 510 cartos with an adapter?

That has been a consideration of mine as well, Beach...
I have some 510 catros on their respective batteries and the vapor is good as well as the carto's being slightly more consistent.
I prefer the KR-- however for battery power and life.

Sorry I cannot answer your questions on which carto, and I will defer that to those more seasoned than I in that matter.

My question is, who has a link to a company making adapters to go from 510 carto's to KR808D-1 batteries? I've seen a few links that look questionable as to wether they fit.

PV Adapters

Can't baet Rob's price. Madvapes and Liberty Flights also carry them, and they all work, don't know about other vendors. You want the adjustable kind, silver color, sort of three-part kind. It allows you to adjust the airflow; all you need is a tiny screwdriver.

I'm so proud of you! Now you have to try one of the SE Rivas which are the true 3.7v, per Scottbee.

We'll work on the button next!

Oh, Br...

Tweety won't be back for a while. We're honoring Fudgey with m&ms--she's becoming a veteran on Monday. Then it's Betty Boop for Tibur, she'll be a vet on Tuesday. And I'm becoming a veteran on Wednesday. I'll bring Tweety back then, just for you.
