WOOF.
That succer will get you pulled aside at the airport. Don't put it in your underwear ...Ha!
Would love to see a schematic or parts breakdown of that thing.

Woof...wait pigs don't woof !
SNORT !

:p:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Yeah, I feel a bit out of place on the forums nowadays. Like Quick1, my latest builds have put me in a different world and I have less in common to share with my vaping friends. I sincerely wish that everyone could be as content with their devices as I am with mine.

I still monitor a few threads though, so I am not completely out of touch. I'm still experimenting too, and have a few ideas that I want to try.

Don't be a stranger.

I'm glad you've found your sweet spot, though. I saw the pictures in the E2 R4 thread. Very cool!

Katya, the keyboard in pic #3 is the Logitech wireless. All the rest (where you can't see much of it) are the Microsoft wired/usb. I like the Microsoft better.

Thanks, Quick. I really like your PV and your keyboard. And since your PV is beyond my reach, I might just settle for the keyboard. I don't type all that much, but I've always been curious about those split keyboards.

I'm finally dug out of the 2000 feet of snow we got here this winter. Now ready to try out the Ego-T.
Has anyone tried out the 2nd version Ego-T or know if there is that much difference between it and the original Ego-T?

Katya when this month are you becoming a vet?

Salt I stutter every time I try to talk about your avatar too.

Quck very very nice PV.

Hello, Zelda! Beachtime?

To best of my knowledge, all the tanks currently on sale in the U.S. are V2. The V1 was the early edition and it looks like the only people who got them were the Europeans who ordered from Ovale and some early TW testers. I'm not 100% sure, but I've been following all those eGo-t threads pretty closely and nobody reported any R2s lately. I know that Cignot has the V2, for sure, because Scott and Kent had actually seen both versions and they confirm that.

However, Cignot, as much as I love the ladies, is also the most expensive. Everybody else is just around $13 per atty. Volcano has the best prices. Well, actually Ovale USA does--they sell the TAWA atties (no warranty) for 10 bucks. But they did have some of the R1, so I wouldn't order from them yet. Anyway, I love mine.

I'm turning on the 23rd, can't tell you how excited I am. I've been hanging out on the Pre-Vet thread that Wiskey started. It's so much fun. Tib is also turning this month, Feb. 22nd, just a day ahead of me. Thanks for asking.

Oooh.. I am intrigued.

Though I really love the idea of the genesis... don't think I'll be making one any time soon.

Anyone tried these MAP tanks? I was gonna pick one up at our last SOCal meet, but I couldnt make it. I know a lot of people have been using them. What's the consensus?

I suppose what I said was a bit misleading, Ty. Although Quick1 and I are somewhat out of place on this thread anymore, he has gone with the Genesis and I am still messing with the C-E2's. It's just that I reached a point with my mods that have very little in common with manufactured products, and everyone else is passing me by with their newer stuff.

I haven't tried the MAP tanks, but they are just a glorified br bottle mod that several of us have made for our C-E2's. Most of the guys say they work better. I suppose they do for them, but mine all work about the same, regardless of the container they are installed in.

Thanks BR! Makes sense. MAP is a member of our club. He showed me them before they went up for sale. I just never got to try one, or a BR bottle mod for that matter. You gonna hook a brother up? :D

The basic bottle mod is just the guts of an E2 stuck into the neck of a juice bottle. A hole is drilled in the bottom of the bottle for a mouthpiece. The first one I did was strictly for test purposes so that I could observe the wick in action. It worked so well that several people began making them and it wasn't long before we were sealing them to vape in any position.

Two different neck sizes are used. One size is the same as the base fitting and the other size is the same as the stainless steel tube. The first one I did was with the base fitting. It sort of snaps in place and stays there better than the Clearomizers that are now available. Here is the primitive thing is in all its glory:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...zer-technical-discussion-392.html#post1992661

One such as the above is a different vaping experience. The bottle completely fills with vapor and you can continue the draw after the button is released. If the draw is not continued, it will still be there a minute later for the next draw. It gives a cool thick vape that I like, but I doubt if you will.

For the larger neck, a tubing cutter is used to cut the tube. Enough of the tube remains on the fitting to fill the neck. The remainder of the tube is used for the mouthpiece. The seal for the ceramic cup is fitted in the other end. Here is a demonstration of this type:

YouTube - C-e2 BR Sealed Tank mod with no leaks. (Br/Nick design)

The above is basically the MAP tank, since several different bottle sizes were used in this configuration. This configuration is also the forerunner of the syringe mod that has now become popular.

Oh @$%&^*@!!%**&#!!@@%$^!!!! I was liking Ikenvape's 808 (blank) megas so much that I sent him a happy note. Noticed a really subtle burn taste today, took it apart, blackened hole in the paper and the wick burnt black under that. I'd kept it plenty full. So I took apart 5 more that I have in progress and capped. Every one same thing, including the ones I hadn't used much yet. All of them soaked.
Have we found the best carto for a 3.7V 808 batt yet? I can't seem to find time to wade thru this whole thread... (got a box of the Fluxomizer CCs - two pulls and poof, smoke, stink, all done.)

No. Keep checking back. If you see the thread has been closed then read the last post. It will identify the perfect carto. :)

Hello Aubergine! Nice to see you again! :)

I wish I could help you, but, for some strange reason, the kr808 cartos still have all kinds of problems. I don't understand it, really, because nowadays most of them are made by Bogetech, which makes some of the best, if not THE best 510 cartomizers, and yet, their kr808s have problems. We've tested them all, the plain Boge kr808 (available at LiteCig and Liberty Flights), the V4l CoolCarts, the VaporNine Turbos, the Nhalres' Megas, etc. They are better than the Kangers, but they all burn, eventually. We've tested the XL Boge cartos as well, IkenVape's, Nhaler's etc.--same thing.

The only new kid on the block is the Bloog cartomizer, but the jury is still out. Some people love them, some have problems with the dreaded burning taste. We tested the early batch and they were very inconsistant. It's my understanding that Leaford is working with his engineers to correct their resistance and generally improve the QC. Check with him on his subforum for the latest developments. Here's my review of the early Bloogs, followed by the reviews (and a discussion) by other regulars of this thread--you may find them informative.

I hope Neo will stop by; she's the last die-hard kr808 user here and she may give you her input. Most of us have either switched to the 510 and/or mods, tanks and such...

Hiya Katya! I love my Reo but I love my 808 best, especially on PT... which cranks up the voltage and... pfft.

If I buy 'em pre-filled I have little problem.

But I also have about 200 bottles of joose. Some of them are up there with Vital Bodily Fluids. I dun want no jazzed up dekang no more.

AND?... I have about 100 808 manual batts. That's not counting the autos. Really. Against the apocalypse or something.

So I'm going to organize a march, somewhere. With serious bands, little flags, giant paper mache carto-less 808s with sad faces, somebody (there must be somebody responsible for this outrage) hung in effigy, and um... oh yeah - drums. Drums are important. I mean, it's what's happening, in general. I dun LIKE 510s. Weep.

And also LOL Quickone...

Aubergine, have you tried Vapor Etc HR kr808 cartomizers? They should do fine on higher voltages and they are made by Boge.

As for the Apocalypse, well, your state seems to be leading the way.

Over a 100 batteries and 200 bottles of juice? Aubergine, head for the Classified section. May I suggest a fire sale? :)

I've been thinking that way too. I'm undisciplined re controlled experiments, but what factors make juice more likely to burn a carto?

The dark, sweet, dessert type flavors, full of particulate, artificial colorings, flavorings and oils (yup, some use essential oils like cinnamon and orange) are the worst. All that stuff that doesn't vaporize cleanly like pure PG and VG gets deposited on the coil and in the filler, clogging the carto.

I have pretty much switched to light-colored, barely flavored eliquids; they really vape much cleaner and are easier on the atties. That said, a good carto should be able to vaporize at least 3-4 ml of even juice no matter how dark or sticky it is. My 510Boge cartos do that. I use them with my coffee juices from BWB and and I haven't burned any yet. They just clog up faster from all that caramel-chocolate-mocha goodness.

Good morning, Tib!

You'd be surprised! I'm so frugal its ridiculous. I order one box of everything, hehe! I'm so afraid of being stuck with a closetful of cartos that I don't like that even if I like them, I still keep ordering a box or two at a time. I know, I'm spending a small fortune on shipping, but I don't have a doomsday stash, yet...

I think I'm always hoping that the holy grail of vaping is just around the corner.

BTW, I still love my tankomizers.
