I bought clone coils 2.0ohms and they are better then all my legit coils that all burnt within a day or so. And clones were cheaper im running a aerotank v2 and i can run 5.5v for smoke or 4.5v for flavor with no burnt taste even tested a few dry fires for changing flavor still hits good amazed me the quality of a clone beating authentic ... Mind = blown

i find there are flavors that dont work well on certain power, like cinnamon flavors for me taste burnt constantly if i try to vape them at 0.5-30watts, but fruit flavors taste fine at that heat. I have to dial down the power to 10-15watts to get good taste from the cinnamon although it wont produce the same amount of vapor. there are just some flavor additives that taste burnt if they are heating too much i think

The question I have involves the Protank II. I've replaced coils and primed them as well bit still get kind of a burnt taste or smokey flavor dispite that's not what my juice is. Any answers on what that might be?

What kind of juice, and what is the PG/VG ratio?

TJ's right on that :)

The Istick uses mean, not RMS, so at lower settings it does run "hot." Less of a difference if you run it closer to the top end. (And an issue that was really kind of surprising when it came out.... as in "why the heck did they use such old tech??")

One way of compensating for that is to run a high Ω coil.

I believe evod coils are the old design ? I may be wrong im still new but the aerotank long stem 2.0ohm dual coil clones i found and to me work better i used 2 and they both work and diff flavors run better at diff settings even with the same base pg/vg. My zombie can run 3.0v-5.5v no burnt taste but my mtn dew can only run 3.5-4.5v
