They are spec'ed for 300 charge cycles , I have some that have been going well over a year ! , every once in a while I have had some that the protection PCB trips and the output goes to ZERO volts !! do NOT throw them away !!! let them sit for a few days then retest them , they tend to come back to life.

I had a couple 18650s I took the protection circuits off because they went bad. I used them for testing circuits and size requirements after that.
With the protection the Buzz has I wouldn't be afraid to use unprotected batteries in a pinch.

Thanks buzzkill.
5card, if you only knew how many classes and training meetings on the rule of engagement we've had to go through because of those sick wastes of american skin. You would be down there right now throwing explosives at those guys... Worst part is though I've heard some stories that make that sound like a nursery rhyme, there are truly some sick people wearing this uniform but they are the minority for sure.

Unfortunately war can do some bad things to some people , Vets from Vietnam that I know had some real problems when they came back home and in the field ! , it is a symptom of the situation , I myself do not think I could deal with some of the stuff I have heard from soldiers .

In any case BE SAFE and like I said if you need anything let us know ,

I know there are several people here that would have NO PROBLEM sending you what you need !!! including me .

I agree but some of these guys got worked over for trying not to perticipate. The CO stated his hate for these people before they sent him there and they shouldn't of sent that guy. Plus what are the guys under him going to do. One guy told his dad about it and nothing was done when his dad reported it. Your righjt most of the soldiers are great people but they need to keep these sickos out of there. Plus then you guys have to go over there after that and face those people. Good thing this happened along time ago. It doesn't make me down on the Army, just those few sickos that get through. But hey that happens everywhere. Police, the government. etc. It just makes me appreciate you good guys even more. The real culprit was there CO.

Good times in killeen? you must have been single or something cause I get bored to tears here. Usually gotta go to san antonio or austin if I want to do something aside from bar hopping the same ole dives. My little brother and cousin are cav also, they managed to snatch us all up lol.

Once Cav - Always Cav - Stay Cav and if you aint cav you aint S***
I always get a chuckle when we gotta holler that stuff at the officers, but I can't help but think it's cool even after almost 4 years.

Well we were all cohort so I had a lot of "buddies"... but I was married. My daughter was born there and she is 22. Is that right? Yep... damn!

My old brain probably remembers it more fondly ;) I did hate the Army most days. Although, not much different then my job now though

I had off today and they still called me!

I lived in Charleston, SC in the mid to late 70s and it was nothing but military there. Back before they started testing for well, anything lol Man we had some good times. The entire town revolved around military payday and bad check days (day before payday) I had many friends that were MPs and could tell you of some great times partying at the gate of the Navy Base and Weapons Stations not to mention the Air Force dorms :) Ahhh to be young and invincible again :) Now most of the military is gone and it sure changed the atmosphere of Charleston.

I was stationed at the Naval Hospital in Charleston for a few months until I got my Discharge in 1963. I had forgotten all about the "strip" outside the gate and this little conversation has brought back a flood of good memories.

Best of luck to you Iluvthearmy and I hope you are getting a quiet duty station.

quiet would be a welcome change for sure. Thanks.
I just realized you got out in 63, then you made it out right on time to avoid Nam. That's the same year my grandfather got out but was called back for vietnam 2 years later. Just curious, were you in during korea?

Dang T! That was the year after I was born lol Yeah that strip you are talking about is around Spruill Avenue and is not such a good section of town :) I bet the "projects" named George Legare' Homes was there back then. Right next to the Naval Hospital. BTW- That Hospital has a bad rep and as far as I know it still does lol

Kinda wish I was around back then before the testing started, but hell I guess I save money cause I'm not a big drinker and just don't go partying anymore.

Ummm... I never was much of a drinker either :)

Wait, but I did out drink 3 navy guys back then :) It was me against 3 on stage at a place called the Flying Dutchman. It was a contest to see who could guzzle a pitcher of beer down first. I won. My husband was there to prove it lol
