Dr, my beta BP and my production BP (got it last August) both have the button I can rock back and forth so I hope it's normal too. My original Buzz has the hard black button after I had to get a pcb replacement, and it doesn't move as easily.

That's good to know and makes me feel better about the button. This whole thing is going to give me an excuse to order another Buzz in a different color just in case :) I've been trying to resist, but that black and brass looks so good.

O,k there is obviously an issue with the buttons... I just got home from work and Ambers Ipro button is..well..broke. It is still there but, pointed downward towards the bottom of the mod and sticks "on". Needless to say it is on its way back to NotCigs as she has only had it for about 3 weeks.

I do have an observation to add. A VERY dear friend let me borrow her Buzz cuz mine is out getting a button fixed, and the button on the older Buzz is and feels much "beefier", it also has a pronounced "click" to it. Where as my BP and Amber's IP, which are only weeks old never had that feel....maybe before they are sent out, someone could check to see how they feel/sound and use this for a gauge, I dunno.....

Woops! Sorry Hart...color me embarrassed

War, I can't tell you how bad I feel for you and your wife after all your troubles :( You are right, if there are this many button failures it sure needs to be looked at closer.

No worries, Bov! Gonna go to the local e cig shop that I just found out about today, and I'm hoping they have adapters so I can send my bp out, and get it properly fixed, but this carto plug is doing its job for now.

I'm sad for you Woodslady :(

No sadder than I am, Bov. The good news is that I have a purple Buzz Pro for a backup, but the bad news is that it's been acting a little wonky as of late, too. I had planned on sending that one in for a check-up, but then the button on my Rooty Tooty fell off this morning out of the blue! Keep your fingers crossed that Ol' Purp can go the distance for me until the button gets fixed on Rooty. The great news is that I ordered another BP in green this morning :)...gotta love it when the Hubby encourages my wreckless spending!

Thanks for the sympathy, DRL. I have no doubts it will come back to me in like-new condition...Notcigs CS and repair work are second to none. I had to send a unit in about a year and a half ago, and it was nothing but a FAST and pleasant experience. Thank goodness I have always had some sort of Buzz for backup during the trip to CA and back again!! The one the button fell off of was purchased in late January, btw.

Hopefully it gets back to you quickly and all is well with it. I've been debating on getting another Buzz in a different color. I keep adding it to the cart but then removing it. With all the talk of the buttons breaking lately it's making me think twice about it.

I wouldn't think twice about it, DRL....actually, I didn't! When I get my new green one, that will make three BP's in my arsenal. You know that Mike will stand behind them and, really...it's just the best, most consistent-vaping unit out there, IMO. This actually makes five now that I have owned...and they have all been workhorses. This button issue is teeny-tiny, IMO.

Side note to Mike...do you think you could put a remote beeper in these units like there is for cordless phones when the receiver can't be found? My biggest problem is that I set them down and spend much of my day searching for where I've left them. It would be so nice to just hit a button and hear a far-off beep somewhere to direct me....something to direct me!!! :p

Well, I went ahead and ordered another. This time I went with the black. Hopefully, it won't end up having any issues. If either one does, I'll have one as back up.
Lately, I've been using the Buzz a lot more than my Provaris. At work I drive a big brown truck making deliveries and the bouncing of those trucks and the Provari's button ends up sending me into the menu so many times a day it began getting really frustrating. I really prefer the button on the Buzz. The lighter weight is a bonus, too.
