Thanks for the input. The 510's I had trouble with had nothing to do with the device threading, more to do with variances in different atties - some were too big and tight, length variances, etc. Probably the problem was just cheap atties. I took to using adapters no matter what atty I was using because I have never had anything strip from an adapter, and never had an adapter that didn't fit perfectly.

I think I'll go 808 since I use 808 cartos 90% of the time...I've just been soooo happy w/ my 901 Buzz that when it comes to any little change I wonder if I might not like it. It's been a long time since I considered NOT using an adapter, they're like a pacifier for me now.

Silver/Chrome 808 Buzz Pro, come to me baby.

Yeah, I was just worried about little things like excessive air flow, and direct use of the threading since I've always used adapters to prevent the risk of stripping w/ poorly threaded atties. Baseless concerns I guess.

Anyway, I just ordered 50 IKV 808 Megas on your recommendation...they were out of stock on the 801 Fusions and I'm running low on V4L Premium Blanks so it seemed like the time to jump. Now I just need that Buzz Pro...

I got a dozen Fusions before Iken went to Vapefest, and a bunch of Gold V2 510 cartos... but just can't get into them.. this is the first time coming back to carto's after about 5 or 6 months of swearing off carto's...

I am putting 10 of the Fusions up in the classy's as soon as i get around to it... f/s or trade for reg dse 901's...

I did this because of the cost of attys and how fast i go through them at 4.++v... but forget it. Dripping is all i want to do.

Just pm me if anyone wants to bargain for the Fusions.

Most say that dripping is a PIA, i think it's the other way around.

I just ordered 5 x 10 pak dse 901 attys from Vapor King. (after trying them out first... haha they have a 48 hour DOA return policy so you have to check them all if when you get 'em).

I would but I have somehow aquired 100 of them and around a hundred other Ikenvape cartos, 510V2s, platinums and mega 808s. I love them. Dripping just isn't my thing except for when I want to sample a flavor then it lets me drip a couple drops to test instead of going through a whole carto just for a taste.
That's a darn good deal though, Fusions for 901s.

uzzaperez, pm'd you back...

my 901 story:

dse 901 (from value vapor $5/ea...) 2.8 Ohm on an"other" smart pv at 3.7 to 4.5v (as the atty gets used the Ohms go up ).
These are my favorite... might be just me, but i like them a tad better than the VaporKings "bulk" black dse 901's which meter at 3.0 to 3.1 Ohm ($37. for 10).
The Ikens dont hold as much juice without leaking out the hole and the draw tightens, in my experience... could be just me again.

No need drip shield, although i have one. I haven't used a cartridge since my first week of vaping; on a BB.

These babies only last me 3-4 days to a week of hard vaping. I have 2 VV's, and keep 2 different attys for the 10 or so different juices i vape each day.
I use mostly PureVapes juice these days at 70/30 mix, and use a bunch of bottles with 20gauge needles... 10 to 12 drops = about 4-5 standard drops. The 901's can take more juice than 510's.
I like the dse 901's because i get great great flavor and vapor.... less TH. (801's like the Cannon has less TH, and more vapor but the tip is too damn wide for me).

I also like joye510 regulars (2.2 Ohm)... but dse 901 is my favorite...

I don't care for Ikens 901s either but I'm an 808 fan. That's what is so good about diversity in vaping. If we all liked the same thing one vendor would be out of stock constantly and the rest would be out of business.

my 901 story...

Gracias. I'm always wondering what's the magic trick with things that never stuck for me. I've tried a bunch of stuff, but always stuck w/ the 808, so I know exactly what works for me and 808 - and so I figure there must be similar magical zones on the other atties that I just never put the time in to really get intimate with them.

I never could stand the leaking on any standard atty because I like to pocket my gear, thus my recent drip shield fandom. I use 901's for flavor tasting...I wonder if I'll like them more once I get my Pro - fact is I'm just too lazy to adjust voltage much with the screw driver or other systems so I don't usually fine tune to atties other than my regulars. I'm thinking new vapes should open up to me with the simple wheel on the Pro.

been MIA (yeah they rarely let me out of work)........
Is there gonna be a PINK Buzz Pro?

One of my ECF friends had a dream the other night that she sent all of the parts to make a purple Infinity pro for her & a pink Infinity pro for me. She attributes her "first vaping dream" to being prescription drug induced..........I still thought it was the most awesome thing ever!
