Revisiting a topic from a few days ago...am I missing something about these 510 mega cartos? I thought they were supposed to hold more juice and be a bit longer than regular 510s. I must have misunderstood cuz what I got (ordered 2 boxes) are the same size, hold the same amount, and my DMM shows them at the same 3.3 resist that I've been buying (from a different vendor) for a couple of months...a lot cheaper

3 ohms, go for it Pocket Protector Girl, you oscillate with precise fluctuations, er I mean you ROCK.
Now for your next mission go to COV and get some of his 3.0 ohm v4 E2 Cartomizers in both the regular and XL size to fit or suitable adaptors for your Buzz. Be sure you have the fit kit (syringe) for filling. A nice set of dental picks will come in handy but your sharp ended tweezers and needle noise pliers will work. Proceed to Cartomizer Issues for the unclassified information, fellow Texan br5495 is your contact there, code name Billy, you may ignore the PTB mods or not.
This is the first part of the mission, it must be completed first, your final PPGirl mission will look like this:
21252d1287794177-new-royalsmokers-c-e2-r4-review-tips-info-help-video-img_1515.jpg

Instead of buying this:
21251d1287794171-new-royalsmokers-c-e2-r4-review-tips-info-help-video-tankafl.jpg

Don’t get scared, start collecting your 8 to 10 ml bottles and make sure you have a good glue gun and blades for you X-Acto knife. You’ll need one of these Mini Tube Cutter from the plumbing tool section of your hardware store too, cheaper will work but much slower for this last part of you mission:
Klein Tools Professional Mini Tube Cutter - 88977 at The Home Depot
OK, I’ll post more on the first part of the mission when you get the 3.0 ohm E2’s.

Charlie this is the oddest but maybe coolest cart mod I have seen...something I might actually try! I've read some of the thread over there, I'll have to go back and read some more :)

Pokey I'm glad you got a giggle...and just to be clear, I am NOT fussing about Drew or Nhaler! I will certainly use the cartos I received since they are the exact ones I normally order...I just assumed that Mega meant...something LOL. I should have emailed Drew and asked about them before I ordered.

That's what happens when you jump on something before you feel it out

go on and try the E2's, they are working as good as their going go get for a while, just use as instructed, maybe move some of the gaskets around that you have to take out to fill, their good and ready now.
This will help for us

1. Two tools that I think anyone who has these E2 Carto needs are.
Head Strap Magnifier with Work Light
and
6 Piece Pick Set
Don't know what i would without Harbor Freight and RS

I'm feeling a little like I picked up a stud only to get him home and discover he was carrying a fake sausage

You gotta watch those studs. They don't all carry fakes, some of them got big secrets.

I tried one of the new E2, v.4 xl 808 cartomizers. So far, I'm not happy with them. I filled one with almost 2 ml. liquid, tried vaping, and immediately got a burned taste. So, I let the carto sit overnight, tried it again last night - same thing.

I have been trying them also , I ended up removing all of the silicon parts and have to lay it on its side to get good hits
One will work OK for a while and the next will be totally different so ???

I'm thinking it was a 3.0 ohm one, i just fired up one, i didn't dry burn first, and it was BAD, but it's getting better. Haven't found on that wouldn't go through the crap they prime them with but some have. do the upside-down for a while to wick your juice through all that wick in them and dilute the primer, oh ya, even if it's 3.0 ohms turn your buzz all the way down untill you can taste your juice

Hey guys how about a device like charlie showed with a acrylic outer chamber and replaceable coils ? so it would be a 4-6ml tank and have plug in coils so you could change them out as they get old , or customize the res. ( no real need with a Buzz but for other devices you would want to )

SO a lifetime ATTY that you just buy and replace the coils when needed ?

any thoughts ?

try 'fluffing' the wick a little where it goes through the slits with a dental tool or bent paperclip, have had luck with that, gets jamed in the slits, and some i just toss. At least they don't mess the threads anymore.
When they work right they are 'almost as good as dripping

IT WOULD WORK, we're proving that at http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...s-c-e2-r4-review-tips-info-help-video-84.html the big thing is the large chamber and wicking material, if you used PTB instead of the stuff in the E2's you would be there. Oh ya, changable wire and wick would be nice

It is a 3.0 ohm - I forgot to mention that. It didn't look like there was any primer in it though. I did try turning my buzz very low - didn't help. I'll try turning it upside down for a few years.

OMG Charlie I NEED that magnifying light hat!!! It would make seeing the adjustment screw on my Buzz easy. I already has some of those picks and they came in pretty handy when I tried the GenJoye cartos. I'm plenty happy with the 510s I use, it's like filling my car...pop the cap, fill'er up and cruise for a couple of hours :)

VaporGal, you are a living example of why I haven't bothered with the E2s. I'm ashamed to say that I am still trying to kick those last few cigs a day to the curb and I was frustrated enough with just having to fool with filling GenJoyes. I would be tossing the E2 out the window and prolly bean some passerby on the noggin with it!

Mike I was hoping you would have some interest in "modding" the mod Charlie is talking about :) Just don't sell em for $160 like the one he showed LOL

If I do it It will be affordable , and you will be able to change the coils ( buy the replacement coils ) I would have to get some small Chinese girls to make them tho !!!!! so they will be low cost.

Anyhow this design would be a one time buy for the housing then purchase replacement coils . I already have 90% of the design DONE , ( bored on a sunday afternoon ) it should be an easy to make device and low cost ( maybe $40-60 ??? ) BUT it would be a lifetime atty !! just pop in a new coil when it gets funky.

Nick I'm thrilled that you are enjoying your Buzz...it is a work of art isn't it?!

Hey Charlie how about a .425" long coil ????? I would think that a coil that big would produce !

Well that’s an interesting thing, I’ve gone over that and it looks like what’s in the E2’s is about right IMHO, it needs to be 3 ohms give or take a ½ but getting there is a ratio of wire size and length and the relationship seems to be cubic to vapor/heat production squared for sure so the “window” is tight. I left that work to the boys with steader hands winding and testing all those little pieces of wire and wrapping it around silicon wick BUT I think the work has been done. I saw one that was a saddle (they used the E2) and the wick layed in it, easy change for gunk up.
That was my hope and why I’m excited about BR’s bottle mod, the E2 seems about right as far as the wire/cup/mount goes, the biggest problem has always been wicking/delivery and badkolo’s PTB mod seems to solve that with E2’s. If this Bottle Mod get’s delivery worked out I don’t have a problem changing a cup/wire/mount/screw at less than $2, there’s always the gunk problem. I think the problem to be solved is getting something that will hold up to the hot wire and wick like PTB, it will end up a two piece thing as i see it, silicone next to the wire and the PTB down in the juice reservoir, that's how badkolo's mod works. IMHO i would just copy the E2 for wire and cup.
