Where do you get em. I'm trying different things to see what I like best.

I've read that a lot of people really like the hemp, but so far, I've never seen it for sale. I suppose it won't be long before the ANTZ try to take the use of hemp wick, and turn it into something else. Sort of like they try to say that PG is the same thing as ethylene glycol.

There was one juice vendor who picked up some hemp wick for sale after trying it.... I'd planned to pick some up when I next ordered, but he disappeared. I picked up some Japanese cotton. I quite like it.

My son has told me for awhile that I should try a subtank but think I will pass on that one too if it makes all that noise. The quietest tank I am using is the RSST with a mesh wick... completely quiet and that is a little unsettling in a way too but wicks great, great flavor, no leaks.

Kath... will talk to son when he wakes to see if the usb can be fixed easily on your E Mech

Thanks Joan, I expect it will probably just have to resoldered, but since your son has been inside of the E-Mech, he will probably know about opening it, and what is inside there.

I have an Aerotank v1 and a v2 and honestly I prefer the v1. With either, I have the airflow control wide open, can't really tell much if any diff between the airflow amount... but the v2 whistles where the v1 is quiet. The v1 is also a little shorter.

It sounds like I wouldn't gain anything with a Protank and that in many ways they are the same critter. Thanks Bruce!

GM... Strawberry/Chocolate. I haven't found a chocolate that has really translated well to vape other than the dark or cocoa but then again, I am not really a chocolate person. Deathly allergic to fresh strawberries so never had a choco covered one. In ways that puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to making a good strawberry vape for someone else.

Strawberry shake shouldn't be difficult though once you find the strawberry you like. For any shakes I start with Vanilla Bean Gelato or Vanilla Swirl... I try to avoid all known flavors with diacetyl and acetoin... think I spelt them rite... then add Malted Milk and start low with whatever flavor I want in the end. I stop adding the accent flavor as soon as I can barely notice it in the mix... it needs to steep for at least a week. The pineapple one needed almost a month but most don't take that long.

with all the strawberry talk on here I took on 2 strawberry recipies yesterday w/the ca. sweet strawberry and I just dont like either, maybe some steep time but the strawberry just had a ??? taste wasnt a big fan of the strawberry to start so I think I'm done w/that one Ha Ha!

I kept trying to get an aerotank when they first came out, but it was always out of stock, so I ended up getting 3 Protanks, and managed to get an aerotank base to use on them. By the time they became widely available, I had already switched to rebuilding.

The PT3 with the Aerotank base is essentially an Aerotank though.

The PT3 uses dual coils, the other PTs don't, so I guess they are different. I like the PT3 with the aerotank base much better than without.

Like I told Joan yesterday, anyone wanting an Aerotank I will make them an excellent price! just talk to me

From what I've seen on youtube you can rebuild the stock coils as well. Looks rather easy.

That is a really great price for the Aerotanks... can't remember even seeing them at that price without the extra coil heads

Kath...son says taking the back off is straight forward... 6 screws and all are visible on the back. He says it depends on where it broke. So I would say to open it up and take a look. If you can't figure it out, post pics and will have him see if he spots anything.

PB...yeah, strawberry has been a bit problematic for me too. I go very very light on it in the shake when I do it. Can't remember if it is strawberry sweet or strawberry ripe that I like... will probably need the steep time. Give it a few weeks before throwing in the towel, you can try it every few though

copperstatevapes has it (hemp wick) and vaperev has it. Its called "Nicks wicks"

Are you sure you didn't order two or three? I did that on one website that had a funky color selector for the tanks I was ordering back when I started vaping. I wanted one Evod Glass of each other. Well, I got that--but two additional black and one additional silver. Oh well, some other luck vapers got them.

I find on alot of my little creations, i have to let it sit for about 3 to 7 days before i get what I was hoping for or close.
On single flavors you know that day it seems like, but if I try one and it does not taste good, I let it sit for a week and try again.
Still not very good at it, DIYing but like everything else, there is a learning curve involved...
