Hi Good Dog, Yes I have a 30ml bottle of the Cafe Macchiato and have heard other people rave about it. Guess my taste buds are kinda messed up as it taste like burnt popcorn to me. Most of Geoff stuff I have really liked, but I'm finding a desire for tobacco flavors after 3 months of vaping. Heard good things about his new tobacco.

It seems the more mine sits the more the flavors come through. In the mornings I taste a lot more after the cartomizer has sat all night with it in it then it kind of weakens a bit. But over the last day or so the taste has slightly changed, for the good though. I think more coffee is now coming out in it.

I have the Loranns-free version, and there's a dry bitterness to it that I can't really take -- I can't get a creamy flavor from it at all. I'm going to wait a while, though, because I've had TV flavors "mature" nicely in the past.

I got the Cafe Macchiato Lorran's free and tobacco on Friday. I think I'm feeling the same way about the macchiato, too. It's good, but I don't really taste the coffee as much as I wanted. I really wanted there to be more of a cinnamon/caramel undertone to it. It's good in that it's not overly sweet. But it and the tobacco have an underlying powdery taste to it that I don't know what it is. The tobacco is also good, but I don't know, it doesn't really taste like tobacco to me. I got the 48mg and the doubler and mixed it to 24mg. The only thing I can think to describe the taste is cornbread? I like it, but wish it was more tobaccoey.

Edit: I am vaping on a stock 510 until my Chuck gets back from being repaired, so hopefully I can taste the flavors better on my Chuck!

I think the Cafe Machiotto rocks... as a single vape AND as a mixer... I enjoy ordering strange, creamy, vanilla-y, buttery, caramely flaves from TV and making little concoctions... I dunno, this vaping stuff is taking on hobby proportions...

In the future, though, I'll probably stick to vaping it straight... cuz I just bought a PS2, so I might be busy for the next few months... okay, years...

Oh, and feel free to PM me, anyone who has Cafe Machiotto they're not happy with... Loran's... non-Loran's... I don't care... I'll send you my address and you can all fill my mailbox with joy juice...

My guess is there are a lot of people who aren't sure what real tobacco even TASTES like unless it's burning. And from what I"ve tasted from Totally Wicked, it tasted like something that was loaded with 101 artificial flavors, and from the research I did, IT IS. And none of the other Tobacco flavors that I tried were consistent, nor tasted worth vaping.

I guess I rather enjoy mine because I know how it's made, and I know what is NOT added.

My tobacco maceration has only two ingredients, tobacco and PG.

Madame, sorry to hear you're having problems with the macchiato. I quite honestly don't know what to say, if it works for the majority and not for you....Maybe this is a good one to pass on in the future.

Burned Popcorn? I think the only additive out there that could achieve this taste would be an excessive amount of acetylpyrazine.....which isn't used in Macchiato.

But there is one common factor I'm finding. What you buy from me is the freshest mix you can get. And it seems to take a couple of days for the flavors to "play" together before one can seem to get the full intensity of the flavors.

Sadly, the only solution to that is buying stuff that's been sitting on a shelf waiting for you to buy it.

The choice is always yours!

I don't know much, but I will chime in..

I received my Macchiato last week and at first I wasn't that impressed. I let it sit for a day and came back to it and now I am addicted. It is a very subtle flavor, and now I think it is just right.. :D It is now my all day choice, which I honestly didn't expect.

I will say that over the weekend I tried it on several different atties and it does change the flavor. The comments about a burnt flavor is what I experienced on a 510 atty @ 5v and also on a cartomizer when it was getting dry.

I enjoy it best on a 901 @ 5v, but it was also nice on a 401 and the 510 @ 3.7v.

I hope that helps!

My Macchiato was ordered on Thursday Got here SATURDAY! West coast East coast That is pretty great!!! Absolutely a true espresso flavor! But hey I order mine in quads! So suits me fine! I got the Loranns Free and the chocolate is a phenomenon!!! REAL!! No fake after taste! I can not wait to share this! This is by no means a overly sweet vape. Espresso is suppose to be bitter! I could not even taste coffee in my other vendor order just tons of artificial nasty chocolate. This is differently for a espresso drinker! I say A++

No problem, of course: wonky personal tastebuds + freshly-mixed liquids = very much a first impression. I was curious if other people had tasted the same thing initially and seen it mellow out (like rjgarcia seems to have found).

...Interestingly, I mixed some of it with ~25% Buttercream and ~10% Butterfinger and the 'bitter' softened into a true espresso taste, which I'm now vaping and really enjoying. (And I'm usually a strong-black-no-damn-sugar drinker, having been raised by a coffee snob who home-roasts the green beans.) I can't even really taste the other flavors I added, they just round out the coffee nicely.

ETA: Wow, this is really, really good. So I'm thinking the new espresso flavor is a winner!
Would you offer it on the drop-down Custom menu by any chance, Geoff?

I didn't care for it. That burnt taste was like the residue found on old coffee pots. Burnt coffee? One thing I love is the bottle it came in!!! I wish I knew where I could pick up a dozen or so.

Gotta say that I changed my opinion of it. Just tried it on a 3.7 volt device and the "burnt coffee" taste disappeared! Just like the web site says ... "TASTY VAPOR".
