This, in over 30 years of dealing with the public I have never had a problem with telling customers I don't know but I'll find out.

Every time I tried to BS my way through something it bit me on the tail.

Semper Fi

:blush::vapor:

Spreading manure on fields huh......and were did they think their veggies come from...bad smell huh,,,perhaps they'd prefer salts leaching into their wells from chemical fertilizers. or soil so compated and devoid of organic matter it's like a sidewalk, eroding water into their yoga studio. I'm amazed they can still do their pranadabdoo poses without all that bovine flatulance affecting their auras.
Yes sir. The root of their opposition is actually the practice of breeding the cattle for human consumption.
In the flat lands they will fight the use of manure on the dirt fields for the enrichment of their crops at the beginning season due to the smell. This is after they build a mansion next to the farm.
Our County courts and lawmakers are up to their necks in half baked issues with little time to focus on legitimate task.

For those of you wondering where Dickinson got his "urge" to propose this legislation, I noted early on in this thread that he is a past president of the Sacramento chapter, American Lung Association. Since nothing else in his history suggests an interest in tobacco, I have to see some correlation with his ALA affiliation. Couldn't find any ALA funding, as published, but that doesn't mean some similar incentive isn't there.

For those of you wondering where Dickinson got his "urge" to propose this legislation, ...

As I understand it, Dickerson introduced a Very Similar Bill (minus the e-Cigarette portion) back in 2007 or 2008. And one of its Strongest Supports was the then CA Attorney General Jerry Brown.

Fast Forward to today and Now Jerry Brown is the Governor of California.

I contacted Roger Dickinson via email stated on his web site and did not receive a reply after 3 days, after that I called his office and was told that correct number to call and express my opinion about AD-1500 was 916-319-2007. I called that number and spoke to an intern named Kathleen , she was very nice and listened to my life story and reasoning for 15 minutes or so. She also gave me correct email of person who is working on the bill directly, her name is Myriam Bouaziz and her email address is myriam.bouaziz@asm.ca.gov
I forwarded my email to her, waiting for a reply.

I am curious where Dickenson was spoon fed his urge. I am sorry if I missed this bit of information. He certainly didn't have this revelation solo.
Yes, you may have missed it...

Dickenson is the former President of the American Lung Association of Sacramento.
That tells you all you need to know about that.

In other words, he is an ANTZ.

All Californians are not like those douchebags.

I am somewhat well-off and have been considering moving to Idaho when I retire.
I can assure you I would not be like those douchebags.

I hope I would be welcomed if I do move there, but I would understand if I wasn't.
I would be more than willing to prove myself though.
:)

Having grown up in a rural area, i found it's not good to antagonize your nieghbors. you never know when you'll need some one to dig you out of a snow bank or give you a lift to town when you bury an axe in your foot.

Excellent sleuthing, Ilya! Thanks. Am going to forward my email to Dickinson to her, with some personal reasoning.

Are you confusing Dickerson with Dickinson? If memory serves from my reading of Dickinson's bio yesterday, he was elected to the Assembly in 2010; before that, he was in local politics.

See, that's what America used to be all about.

I liked that America.

If you Google "Roger Dickinson homeless" you'll find a funny accounting from a few months ago after he'd endorsed the Homeless Person's Bill of Rights (which includes their right to be on your front lawn), but then when some journalists posing as homeless people actually went onto Dickinson's front lawn, he called the cops on them.

But I digress.
