I would suggest not deamon dialing them and laying into them. It is only providing them with "proof" that we are a bunch of fanatics, probably having our brains effected by all this "antifreeze" we inhale on a daily basis.

Best thing to do, if anyone wants to call them, is be polite and professional. In my line of work, I talk to hundreds of people on the phone daily. If you come in with an attitude, that already sets the stage and chances are you will be disconnected.

They don't want to hear it. ASH isn't into harm reduction or anything else. They don't even want you to quit. It's not in their financial interest. If everyone quit using it, then they'd not get any money.

Oh wait. I forgot. They'd just go after fast food and fatty foods. But they'd not make as much as they would with cigarettes.

I don't suggest antagonizing them. Remember, they are behind one of the most recent briefs filed and have big Pharma money backing them up. I would definitely use the honey approach. Whne someone does not want to hear what you have to say, being abrasive only causes them to close their ears tighter.

I wouldn't suggest any type of attack, period. And for your first post, you should read up on more forums...then you would know that ASH trolls this forum, has used it as reference in it's articles. They are the type to easily incite and pull out all guns blazing at the slightest hint of wrongdoing. just fyi.

I heard from someone in the industry that ash.org will be suffering from a ------ very, very soon.

That will be like pouring water on a Gremiln. They will only come back bigger, meaner, and stronger.

Not to mention that, true or not, announcing that on a public forum really isn't a good idea. ASH.org trolls this site often and we really don't need any sort of connection to that.

They are an anti smoking organization. I have quit smoking - and I called to tell them that. I used an e-cig. I just want to tell them they have taken the wrong stance.

That would never work, they think the ecig emits high levels of nicotine into the air killing everyone around themselves.

They filed the brief as a show of power. It contained nothing of substance or relevance to the case. The filing of the brief shows how threatened they are by e cigs.

OK, just to clarify, I am not suggesting that anyone do anything against their beliefs. I am simply saying that whatever you do, and whoever you deal with, just dont post it here for them to see.

Hopefully we can all act like the responsible adults we are and retain our freedom of speech to speak out against the zealots and hatemongers without being mistake for one of them!

ASH loves to claim responsibility for everything done against the ecig community (whither they really had any part in the action or not), which is childish (look what I can do!)

Lets be better than that and not post anything about letters and emails and phone calls, and make it harder for them to figure out whats going on! Dont play into their greedy hands by putting it on this forum for them to read. they love that! they may even come on here and try to incite a conversation to find out who is responsible for what actions or what is being planned. Again, dont play into it.
