I thought it would be cool to start a thread and see how many of us vape heads are musicians.

I've been studying music for 30+ years. I'm primarily a guitar player, but I also play bass, keys, and I played sax throughout grade school and high school.

I play Parker & Schecter Guitars. I currently play through a Line 6 HD 147 300 watt modeling head and I use both Line 6 and Marshall cabs.

I'd love to hear from other musicians out there. I'd especially like to hear from you if your in Cincy as I'm always looking to network with local musicians.

Rock!

Heya there!

Tribal your avatar is hilarious.

I'm a violinist, guitarist and bassist. But lately I'm just a singer.
When I do play guitar i'm usually an Ovation person, but I have an epiphone electric when the mood strikes. I also use a Line 6, Spider.

Used to have a Warwick, but I sold that to pay for rent. heh heh.

My violin, well. They don't really do brands. At least, if you do own a brand, you know it's guaranteed to not sound very good.

I've been a musician since I was 5 (started piano then but only arrange on keyboard now), so that's 20 years in 19 days. My that's longer than I thought it would be.

Drummer also around 30 years , played in a couple of bands here in Aus, slowing down a little these days due to not having great working legs lol , but the mongrel still comes out in me from time to time... Currently no acoustic kit ( used to be Ludwig/Kingston combos) but keep myself amused and in semi-ok-ness with my Alesis DM-5 Pro rig coupled with a DM-50 percussion pad and a nice 500 W RMS head to piss people off. Just mainly for kicks these days , but if the right people show up or ask nicely I help out .... Kinda over the whole touring/trashing/getting wasted and not having a cent to show for it deal LOL

I don't currently have an acoustic kit, but I don't miss it. I'm playing a Yamaha DXExtremeIIS combined with the DTXpressIII Special.

Been playing guitar for about 25 yrs. Haven't played with a band since high school though. Gear: Ibanez rg550 1988 model. ernieball john petrucci model. line 6 flextone 1, zoom g9, art extreme, mxr dist+, rockman sustainer, Presently getting ready to build a guitar from scratch.

I used to play Ibanez in the late 80's too. I had an RG570 and GEM 777. I Played them thru an ADA MP1 (Huge Paul Gilbert Fan back then, still am) powered by a Carver amp along with an ART DRX 2100 and BBE Sonic Maximizer for processing.

Drop some pix on here of what you're building, I'd love to check it out!

Guitar and trumpet player here. With my trumpet, I used to play in various ensembles for years (~12 years). Picked up the guitar about 3 years back and have been playing on my various models (built an electric myself). Ever since I've been working full time, I haven't had the time to keep up the horn, but I do put in about an hour a day of practicing on the guitar.

If anyone ones to get together and jam in the Seattle area, let me know (especially blues/classic rock).

I play bluegrass fiddle, mostly for fun but we have a four-piece band that plays for benefits and charity fundraisers. Sometimes we get invited to play and 'sing for our supper' at small events, which is always fun because we meet a lot of great folks there.

Oddest fee we ever collected was two quarts of apple butter, 4 pounds of country ham, and a meals and a place to stay for a wonderful weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
