Just out of curiousity and sorry if it sounds ignorant but how do "porn" companies and the like avoid internet/online sales to those under 18? Couldn't the e-cig companies replicate what they do?

i echo smokey joes response, in that they really can't, just do their "due diligence".

i, uh, know from past experience as an under-aged erotica consumer :p

If it has to be done at some point, we'll all have to deal with it.... but I do not want to see them have to use serious age verification. That's part of the settlement with tobacco companies and I've never been able to pass it and get textual data off of their websites because of it, at least not the 3 sites I tried. And they aren't even selling products, they are just providing information! But AFAIK it's considered the only "officially approved" age verification method for "protecting the children" from tobacco.
