The main difference between a pod mod and a regulated power mod is with the regulated power mod you can adjust the power output to whatever the tank/coil requires or what type of vaping experience you individually require for satisfaction. You can't do that with a pod mod to the best of my knowledge.
The regulated power mod with a MTL tank will provide you with more options to try that a pod mod will not.
Your mission is to find the right e-liquid (either nic base or nic salts; at the right nic concentration) to satisfy your individual needs.
I've not used nic salt, so I'm not very familiar with it. To my understanding, pod mods generally use nic salts because it has been formulated to be smoother (less throat hit or harshness) but utilize higher nic levels to get more nic per hit.
I've read that you can use either nic salts or nic free base in a MTL mod tank like the Zlide, Zenith, or Nautilus. I think you may need to do a trial of both to see which will work out best for you. Do your research on both forms of nic.
I fully understand that this can be confusing. Which nic to use? Which type of gear setup will work best for you? Too many options seem at first confusing, but that can be a good thing. It just means there exists the right combination of e-liquid and gear specifically for you...you just need to research and experience it to find it. Sorry your journey has been more difficult for you than to others.
Thanks a lot for the reply. Looks like others members who were replying are now frustrated with my silly questions so thank you for answering.
Yes I know about nic salts and freebase juice now. I never used nic salts because of too much nicotine. I was using freebase juice in my pod device 6 mg of juice was not providing me nicotine but I see mostly vapors vape 6 mg to 3 mg in their proper mod kits and I am light smoker. 8 cigs a day only. I suspect its the pod device which is not heating juice enough.
But with the mod kit I feel its very harsh to my throat on temperatures like 50 or above but that is the recommended temperature for the stock head inside tank. But I am vaping it at 30 watts now which is well below the recommended wattage so I am sure the coil is under performing. I am actually looking for a 0.5 0r 0.7 coil head and was about to get the GT 0.5 head but I read about the possibility of severe health risk with ceramic coils so I want to avoid such coils.
Are there any other coils which are compatible with skrr S tank? I tried to google but couldn't find any thread on it. Coil by some other brand which is compatible with skrr s.
Problem with the Nautilus tank is that its very very small. Almost like a pod device capacity. I am liking the skrr s tank because it can carry 8 mg of juice which is a huge plus. So that's why want to use another head but something which is not ceramic. Please advise or do you suggest me to open a new thread about it?
