Ok, I know the USPS is messes up, but really? How do you manage to 1) finish sorting a package AFTER it leaves the soring facility and 2) deliver a package at 2:35 pm when it isn't even noon here?!
Guess that's what I get for watching the tracking site. Either that or I really need to get a job with the USPS. Being able to see the future would be cool!

Usually our carrier is really cool and just delivers things to the office. (Live in an apartment complex.) I'm not worried, just bemused at their ability to bend time. Can't tell you how many times I've wished I could do that.
This was an apparently lame attempt at funny:

It was not taken as such, I guess, because of the absence of some sort of emoticon indicating a joke.
Then it was defended as if it were a prime directive about what to buy, how to buy it and how much should be paid for it
In addition I believe I was included in the "word police/phrase" group. I've never, ever indulged in such activity except once in another "funny" attempt at changing the word "phallacy" to "fallacy" just after the mod squad had been around. Again, fail.
JeepR, I do not have an agenda aimed at you or your ilk. I'm happy for you that you have so much backup from your peer group.
