Last time I went to Baltimore I made sure to stop by Attman's. And had a cheesesteak sub.

Then I came back and got cheap rolled tacos!

Some year I want to live in some place that has all the food I like. Nah, not possible, not unless I lived somewhere like New York City, which with all their bizarre laws these days, not going to happen.

I've never seen any that weren't just gross with fat. Real kosher Jewish corned beef is really lean, relatively speaking. Mostly what you find here is the goyim variety and it's disgusting. I think you need a decent sized Ashkenazi population around to get good corned beef.

And Reno sure doesn't. There isn't even an Orthodox shul here, just reform and conservative.

Hey, I know how to cook grits! Discovered canned greens are the work of the Devil. LOVE, but love fried just about anything. Know what, "She's a nice person." really means. (For those who only speak Yankee, it means she's such an effing c-word I can't think of anything pleasant to say about her.) Use sir and ma'am by reflex.

Don't know if I'd live in the deep south, but I'd sure rather there than oh, say, California or Massachusetts.

Oh yeah, and I married a good ol' fashioned Southern Belle. I know exactly where I stand with her, completely under her command. But I like it, because I don't have to worry about doing something she doesn't like. She'll fix it so I do.
