I think it is irresponsible for mech mod manufacturers to make metal tube mods with no or inadequate ventilation holes should a battery venting incident occur. That is a pipe bomb just waiting to happen
Yes sir, everything I've read about exploding mods has either been a mech or some poor guy with poor battery hygiene. I simply don't possess the knowledge yet to even consider a mech mod, I'll stay on regulated devices until or if I ever know enough to feel safe using one.

The batteries we use have literally been pirated. They were not manufactured to be used in our devices and we can't expect them to address info for our needs.
You're right, but I think Baditude said in his post that mod manufactures could provide more info in regards to what works best in their mods at different settings.

Mod manufacturers, B&M vape shops, and online vape shops need to provide more useful information and education to all vapers on how to choose the right batteries to use for their particular battery devices, be it a mechanical or regulated model. They need to also educate about safe battery practices such as never carrying loose batteries in pockets/purses and to check insulation wraps and rings.

Consumers and vapers shouldn't have to go to an online vaping forum to find this information.

Yes and no. Liability is a real concern in this age of ridiculous lawsuits. The days of personal responsibility seems to be history now. Both sides of the this subject has valid points. IMO refusal to self educate isn't a valid excuse.
