I don't see why not as it says 100% cotton. I personally prefer organic cotton ( from Walgreens). If its not organic cotton there is typically hdrogen peroxide on the cotton to bleach it white which I would say is very likely on that as its sterile. Last I read that causes no issues aside from an odd taste on the initial first couple of drags. I will say I've found cotton balls easier to work with but there are some that prefer stips/ pads of it. To each their own!

Ok. I tried it. It works pretty good. Just an odd taste like as said. So I've boiled it. I will report back tomorrow after it dries.
Thanks
Just make sure you dry the cotton well, if not you can be doing more bad then good because of the possibility of mold or something. Usually a cottony taste, if not the cotton itself, is from installing to much in the coil

I've used sterile surgical cotton pretty extensively. I like it just make sure it has no elastine materials in it and it is 100% cotton (like yours).
Works pretty well, I think better than cotton balls, not as good as Japanese.
I got a gift pack with about a 6 month supply last time I saw my oral surgeon.
Before moving to rayon and kgd, I always seemed to prefer sterile to organic cotton. Cvs sterile balls was my go to for a long time

I'm the other way around. I like the CVS Organic cotton balls. Not because I care about whether or not it's organic (I don't), but I find the consistancy of the organic cotton balls nicer to work with regular sterile cotton balls.

I recently bought a giant box of rayon, but seem to be having some issues with getting the right consistancy. Went back to cotton for now.

I agree and think rayon is a bit trickier but maybe it's because we have more experience with cotton. I used cotton for a long time compared to rayon and it just takes time, but now I have it pretty much down and been using it more and more

Organic cotton balls unroll into a strip if you can find the beginning of the roll. I was about to order some Japanese cotton from Amazon until I found out that I had to pay shipping from Japan! I still haven't looked around for a U.S. source. Organic is just fine, IMO.

When I first switched from silica to cotton I used cotton off the tips of Q-tips to recoil some Protank heads. I got the T-shirt taste on those, but the vape was nice when the T-shirt cotton taste left. It might have been peroxide residue. I didn't think about how they sterilized them other than maybe the cotton was soaked in alcohol and dried.
