My whole family can smell every flavor I've used and so can I but all of them like it except my husband. He has the gall to claim that it stinks while he still smokes analogs. Go figure.

I guess he would complain about air freshener in the house too.......as you are trying to cover up the smell of his stinky analogs. lol.

I vape pretty heavily in the house (especially since it's been a constant 20 degrees here 24/7), and neither the 3 kids nor the 2 analog-smoking adults (of course, with their jacked up sniffers) notice any smell imparted to the air around them (with the kids they smoke outside only). Good news for the 2 analogs: their joining the ranks of PVers very soon...just waiting for their eGo's to get here! Victory is mine! :)

My coworker always says from a few cubes over "hey man, are you vaping over there??" And I tell him yes, why? And he says "Oh wow, it smells so good and sweet, like candy!"

It's usually whatever I am vaping, he always says it smells sweet, or like fruit! LOL, I have to admit, I love my hypnotic myst, strawberry creme, and blueberry!!

Thanks for your replies everyone as they were very helpful. I posted this question before I went to bed last night and was shocked to see how many replies there were when I got up this morning! It's nice to see that there is such strong community support here.

Anyways, I decided to take the plunge and ordered a Vapor King and some carts from Vapor4Life this morning. Thanks again to all.

My girlfriend loves the smell of the vapor and she has the most sensitive nose of any human I have ever met. She claims that the smell is similar to a candle as opposed to something heavier like incense. I think she told me wyatt earp smelled like cotton candy the other night, which is fine with me because that and the cuban flavors are some of my favorites.

Funny thing is, I stealth vape at my desk, and last week I was using French Toast. I sit in a cube with high walls (five feet), so when I'm sitting down, no one can see me. I kept hearing people walk by and say things like, "wow! It smells good in here!" One guy kept saying, "Where is that buttery syrup smell coming from? It smells like a waffle with butter and syrup! It's coming from this area somewhere! Someone needs to share their breakfast." Lol. I stopped vaping that flavor at work b/c I didn't want to get busted for vaping. But it was fun for a day!

Other than that, no one seems to notice the other smells. I don't use tobacco flavors, though.

I hadn't mentioned my vaping to my (longtime ex-smoker) office-mate and feel self-conscious about doing it when she's around, but I do vape a bit when she's not. Any number of times over quite a few months, she's come in just a short while after I've vaped and not noticed. However, she came in right after I'd wiped up a little spill of gingerbread juice, and HAD to know where that wonderful gingerbread smell was coming from. (It was right before Christmas, and she thought there might be a stash of it somewhere in the building.) Which is when I explained about e-cigarettes to her.

And I'd like to add, as far as I know, nobody has noticed I vape in the bathroom at the inlaws. I never use any of my most-tobacco smelling juices there (like Desert Ship) but I have used some sweeter ones like FSUSA oRYental 4 (sweet vanilla caramel tobacco) or peach in a weaker tobacco, or cherry tobacco, or sometimes just BWB Vanilla Bean. I try to use something with some fruit or food in it. My nephew who could always smell smoke on me after I'd sneak outside for a smoke did not notice anything on me or anywhere. There are so many food smells in the house from brunch I think whatever I use just fits in.

My friends like the smell of my vapor. I have a lot of sweet flavours like peach. They like the peach smell a lot lol. The cola flavour vapor is pretty nice too. Nothing like the smell of ash from analogs ;) My GV liquids are also double flavour, but I don't know if that makes the smell any stronger.

My wife is very sensitive to odors. She is the one that talked me into checking e-cigs out in the first place. She has made only one comment about any of the juices that I have tried and that was Boba's Bounty. She said that it was a bit strong, though not really unpleasant to her. Everything else has been good. She even encourages me to vape certain flavors that she likes because she says they are very pleasant.
