Ordered some V4L Cartomizers for my kr808d. Loved em all, and all worked great... except one. I wasn't really getting any hits out of it. Originally thought maybe I needed a couple warm-up drags (though I never really do), then wondered if maybe I grabbed an empty that I had re-"condom"ed. Pulled off the little white cap, and poking out of the filler, and into the white middle tube was the wire. I've popped open a few of their cartos for refilling, and have NEVER seen one like that! Is there any way to move it, and actually be able to still use the carto? (Not too informed on the scientific "this is how the vaporizer works" stuff. I just know I screw it on, and am happier than five minutes earlier) Or is it trashed? What the heck kind of deformity is this, anyway?

Here's a picture of an autopsy of a badly burned cartomizer; all cartos with a vertical heating coil have a vertical wire looping over the batting. The horizontal-coil cartos don't.

Do you have a multimeter? Maybe your carto is just a dud... It happens.
