hey op this is my first post but i too am from ky. i too have the 21st century and to answer your question i believe it to be a jewel. i also have an ego t and use it never. the 21st is awesome. it's cheap, local and i get great performance out of it. i vapes way better than my ego and is so much easier than it. i have refilled cartridges and works well. i was back and forth on finding another more "mercedes benz" type equivalent to it but haven't. it has super awesome th and vape. really like 21st.

Hate to be different, but my very first ecig was a 21st Century purchased at a quick shop while getting gas, on a whim. 39.95 for 2 bats, one charger and 5 carts and one atomizer(3piece). It lasted me about a week with mixed results. I could see the possibilities, but it didn't get me off the cigarettes. did some online research, still didn't find this site, and purchased a SmokeTip(KR808) starter kit. $59.95. good quality ecig even though a little over priced. I am still using it after several months. It blew the 21st century away.

Have since found this site and took the good advice and ordered a RIVA SE from Liberty-Flights. Very satisfied with this kit and still use the SmokeTip as a backup.

Move up from the 21st Century and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

I bought this same set up (only regular, not menthol) when I first started. The cartridges you get with it, completely suck (no pun intended). The cartos, on the other hand, were terrific...if you want to limit yourself to one flavor and spend that kind of money. I was going thru a carto to a carto and a half each day. Yes they are refillable, after a thorough cleaning and letting them sit FOREVER to dry out before putting in new juice. I had them sitting for a week (after I had already gotten and was using my 510) and they still were wet! Granted this is about the same price as 2 pks of analogs, but still....one flavor.

First off there's absolutely no guarantee it's a good deal. Most likely it's not. It's probably something like this. That looks like an m401 too.

Second to the OP. You have more than 150 posts. By now you should know that getting some noname rebranded PV is a big mistake.

I did not have 150 posts when this thread was started. This was my first e-cig. Just FYI...It worked well enough that I have not had an analog since I purchased it. (62 days smoke free.) So it did work even though it's a rip off. For more info on the unit you can search out Basilray. He did a review on the exact unit I purchased. I now use an eGo for my day to day use and a home brewed 5v pass thru at home & office...

Just a tip...You might not want to be so critical of someone without looking at the date of the post. Not to mention the FACT the a few folks in this thread obviously know quite a bit more about the unit in question than you do. I hope it was not intentional on your part but your post made you sound like a real jerk. I doubt that's the case in reality but...just sayin'...:p

Hey all, first post on ecf. Just wanted to reply about the two sites. The one without "st" as in "21st" is not the same. Looks like a random reseller, not hard to tell since they didn't even change the page title or the "Welcome guest" message in zencart! I noticed it right off the bat since I used zencart on someone else's website. No offense, but I at least took the time to customize it. And, of course, the products are overpriced.

The 21stcenturysmoke site http://www.21stcenturysmoke.com/products.asp is not the same. These are found online and at Circle K's. I bought the starter kit, not too bad for the price, (extra wall usb charger-bonus!) but it lacks two atomizers, which I thought it had when I bought it. They're not horrible, they work reasonably well, but I'd like to know what kind of battery is in them. They seem to smoke really well at first, then drop some as far as amount of vapor produced. I'm wondering if the battery's not NiCad, which I hate, since after a month or two, I'm constantly recharging the batts to get more vapor. Not sure if it's the battery or the fact that I didn't keep the carts capped at first like I should have.

In any case, it was a good way to try out ecigs at first, some people may not like them, and now I'm betting a good quality one will work and last as expected. (I figured these were slightly more expensive than cheapos online, but $10 for disposable and $40 starter pack can't be TOO bad, can it?) Anyway, refillable with lithium batts, here I come! HTH because I noticed a lot of posts condemning the cig for being overpriced, when the other is a totally different site and cig.

I too have the same starter kit as you. I think the 21st century works great. I have also ordered a KR 808 d1 kit and an pcc. I have ordered e juice from EC Blend which is excellent. It is in the us and I had my shipment within 3 days. You can refill the 21st century cartamizers with this e juice and it is much cheaper and better then buying more cartamizers. It is good to have two batteries or more, so you always have a back up. I am still using the 21st century and am very happy with it so far. Best of luck, and please check out ECBLEND.COM. The tobacco XF is very good!

I also bought the same $21 kit as the OP. I have to say the quality is impressive. The cheaper 21st Century kit blew away my $40 Crown Lion (piece of junk).

Battery life is pretty good, cartomizers are fairly cheap (3 cartos for $7), and you can refill them. However, I find that I can only refill them once and after that the vapor production is poor. Cartos last me about 2 days. All things considered, this is a very good kit for the money. I would definitely recommend it for someone who wants to try out vaping. It's great to have while I wait on my 510 being shipped from China. I'm sure I'll keep it around as a backup unit.

I have a 21st century kit that i started with it is still working i refill the cartos my self. First i boil water and then through the cartos in there take off the white caps first. I do this two times and then let them sit for 1 day then refill by holding at a angle and dripping juice in. I drip about 8-10 drops then shake like a thermastat and keep doing this till I hear or see the juice drip out the end that screws on to the battery. I then blow into the end that screws onto the battery and put the cap back on and attach to battery and vape been doing this for almost a year and it is still going strong.

Going well after one month, using the 21st century smokes. Haven't had a single "analog" for that time period. I like the 21st brand because it works well and the refills are readily available at the same stores that I used to buy analogs. Be aware there are actually three types of the 21st brand. I got the rechargeable "express" system that is a 2-piece. There is an older, 3-piece version and a disposable.

First post here. I have been using the 21st century kit I bought from a gas station for well over a year now. The original kit had the atomizer and carts. But then they started making the self contained units which were more expensive, but much much much better than the two piece units. The batteries are $10 to replace. A local tobacco store also carries them and they will let you trade in batteries anytime you want as long as you have a receipt. I think they are one hell of a deal and everyone who has tried mine says that it hits like a champ!! Lots and lots of vape, batteries last all day and at the price you can have spares without breaking the bank. I can't imagine this product being nothing but a Jewel!!

The local tobacco store sells several brands and the owner recommends the 21st Century brand and that is what she personally uses.
