Yes and I was having the same problem until hairball advised me to lower my nic level. I lower it by about 25% for evening vape BUT I leave a little of my higher daytime juice in a tank (to be mixed with my lower level evening juice) and thus the "stepping down is not too abrupt- expect to chain vape for the first little while when stepping down in the evening.

there are 2 sides for this question

1-it is normal to mildly overdose nicotine before going to sleep.
every smoker knows he smokes a lot before bed, hell... this was even observed in lab rats, having a nicotine vendor in their cage.

2-because you are new, you are probably overdosing your self severely before bed time, and as told here before-that you are probably vaping higher does than your body really needs.

thus it will be wise to lower your general nicotine levels in your juice, not just before bedtime.

I vote for lowering your nic level at night, I vape 3 or zero nic right before bed, and it has helped me alot. Once I had vaped too much at just 12 nic and I was getting a racing heart, so everyone is different, try mixing it up, use a higher level in am, then taper off at lunch and lowest at night. bnrk

Hi SF

What does the acronym MAOI stand for ??

Red

A good explanation of how MAOIs work is right here.
This is your brain on nicotine

All smokers smoke before going to bed whether it's tobacco or vaping. 1 cigarette is supposed to produce 1ml of nic on the average. I suppose we could vape heavily and create a nic excess, but I think we did that before quitting tobacco.

It can't hurt to cut down a couple of hours before bedtime.
