Can you identify this ecig for me

My sister ordered an ecig, one that was shown on the Dr. Oz show. It's one of those where they automatically send out supplies to you. She paid $4.95 for a single unit bat, charger and 2 atties. Auto shipments are 79.95/month. She was able to cancel this, but for now she likes it. She just doesn't want them to charge her card monthly.

I went from a vGo (ego clone to a Reo Woodvill). I have no clue what this is, can you help me? She likes this and not my Reo. So I have no clue what to suggest to her.

Edited to add: She would like it to look and feel like a real cig in her hand. (Can't wait until she gets over that lol)

Yes, it is a ripoff, and I am glad she was able to cancel. My problem is she wants me to find her a good one similar to that. And I don't have a clue either, I've only been vaping for 7 months and have my Reo within 2 months lol.

The two most popular cig style e-cigs are the KR-808 and the Joye 510. Lots of vendors sell them. See the vendor section at the bottom of the main page. Your mom would probably like either.

Have no idea what that thing is your mom bought. But, it is a rip off.

Vapor 4 Life is alright for a cig like model. I had a good time with them at the time I was with them. Also Bloog and Volt get really good reviews. All kr808 models.

I wouldnt reccomend a 510 cig style, because as far as im aware they limit the voltage to 3.2 regulated, vs kr808 which are a true 3.7v.

From the vague pictures they show it looks like some kind of 808. Just buy a pack of cheap 808D-1 cartos. If the 808 works for her good. Lots of people like them and there are plenty of good ones out there now.

OMG! $80 for 10 carts.....WOW. That's insane. Can't stand seeing stuff like that. There was a poster earlier today that said they were selling a cheap 808 style kit in the mall for $300.00.

From the crappy pictures on the site, it appears to have male threads on the battery. You could try threading a carto onto one of your 510 cartos, if it fits it's a M401, threads are the same but male / female reversed. Likely it's an off the wall model, 808-D2, E9 or even propitiatary to keep you coming back.

Get you sister a good 510 or one of the bottom coil 808 models (Volt for example), they're the size of a cig, work well enough for someone to see vaping is worth pursuing. Then the upgrading can start...

Thought it was an e9 kit from the manual pics Wuzznt Me (sir correct?), but the actual pics and the fact they say the cartos are 2 packs worth, that points to it being a 4081. Their cartos hold around 1.4-1.6ml of juice, so do last a bit longer than most...

Thank you for your intervention Morandir 835. I should have looked into it farther before posting. I hope her sister gets to enjoy it soon and correct, I'm male. May I ask what made you think e9 from the manual photo? I would have thought 808 but I'm not as familiar with the e9.

Thank you guys and gals so much for the help. I found their paperwork online, it doesn't state a model but does say:

"two-part unit consists of a chamber holding a lithium-ion battery, and a replaceable nicotine cartridge and atomizer ‘filter’. When you inhale from the e-cigarette the atomizer unit is activated to create nicotine carrying water vapor"

So that really doesn't help me at all lol. I do believe I will take my sister to the next Windy City Vapors Meet next month and have her try out some different setups to find one that she likes. I think that will probably be best. Also gonna take what she has to the meet and see if looking at it, someone will be able to know what the heck it is lol.

Wuzznt Me sir reason I thought of e9 (kr808-d2) is most of the high mark up vendors prefer them to other type of batts because there are so few places to get replacement hardware at a decent price. A company that ryhmes with shreen bloke sells them, they're 49.95 as an example. The first pic is of what an e9 batt looks like.

Ms. MammaD that sounds like a good plan. The batt is one of the two things, a 510 or a 4081. Can't tell without actually getting to look at it, but from the pic taken off their site (see pic 2) it's a female threaded batt with a male carto.

You say two part unit but you describe three parts. It's starting to sound more like an M401. Does it look anything like this?

It's a 2 piece MickeyRat sir, at least according to the pics on the site it is, and it has female threading which rules out the M401...

My sister says that there is only two pcs. She also says that the "fiter" is one piece encased in like a metal, and that the whole unit is heavy. I need to get over there to see, but shes like an hour away.

If she liked my reo, she could use it until she could get her own, but its not to be lol, had to send it to Rob for repair (spring). So I guess its a good thing she doesn't like it lol.

Might just get her something from the local smoke store until she can get what she needs.

Went to her place today. It is a standard 510. I used a sr 510 atty and carto, also used a lr 306. Filled her atties from the bottom so she is good to go til they die lol. She has placed an order from me for more of my ry4. She will also be looking for a back up and is on her way to being smoke free. Thanks again for all the help!
