from what i see on the reo site, the chance of getting a wood one is probaly slim?

Ya, it will be a few months before he starts in on the wood ones again. If you're wanting a Woodvil, your best bet is to camp out in the classifieds. You will need to get verified in order to access the the classies.

I too jumped immediately to a grand a little over a month ago. Without a doubt was the best thing I did. Starting off with the best makes getting off the stinkies that much easier! The only thing I will add to the great advice you've already gotten is to try 1.7 ohm super shorty cartomizers (i get mine at avidvapors) They hardly mute the juice flavor..if at all. They are super easy to use and I'm having amazing luck with them. Not to mention they are super cheap. You won't regret it.

Your REO needs have been taken care of already, but may I suggest a backup - it can be cheap and normally hidden in a drawer, but it is good for the peace of mind and the sleep. REOs are very sturdy and won't normally break, but it happens and it will be in the worst time and place possible.
Look for a cheap mod that uses the same batteries your main mod - the REO - needs. For a Grand that would be 18650, for a VV Grand 18350. And you want a backup charger - thats the piece most people dont think about, but it IS important =) Some cheap plastic tube mod will cost under 15 dollars, a cheap tr001 charger maybe another 12.
Of course, a second REO is the best backup, but you'll get there soon enough.

Totally agree with the Grand. For me, as a new owner of a Reo, I wanted something to hold lots of juice and a long lasting battery. Also the minimalist idea means less problems in the future. Good luck on your quest to quit using those mean old cancer sticks.
I think you will be very happy with your REO, congratulations on choosing to switch from smoking to vaping! Another idea, I keep a disposable e-cig in my purse, just in case I forget my REO when I'm out or if I go out for a few minutes and it turns into a few hours. You could keep it in your car as most men don't carry purses, but you get the idea. Like you, I want no reason to pick up a cigarette. I would like to suggest that you get some cartos and attys, some find cartos easier to begin with and they are super inexpensive. Along with the liquid vendors mentioned above, Highbrow and Heather's Heavenly Vapes have great juices too.

You might want to add a drip tip also. Those cartomizers get hot enough to burn your lips.

It is the connector size. The 510 and the 306 will run on the REO's without a adapter. Just get a 510 tip and you will be fine.
The recommended battery for the Grand is the AW IMR 18650 3.7 @ 1600mAh. They do have the 2000 mAh which will work. The mAh is the lasting time per use. More mAh will make the battery a little longer in length.
The AW IMR are redish orange.

i'm over at avejuice now does it matter if the juice is vg or pg? what the normal size to order it in?
RE: PG vs VG: It doesn't matter unless you experiment and come to prefer one over the other. Some folks have sensitivities to one or the other, but that's not extremely common. Order small bottles at first. The flavors that you really enjoy can be reordered in larger sizes when you are ready for more. Flavors you don't like should be shelved in a dark cabinet and revisited down the road when your taste preferences change.
