The best reason for building your own is a) absolute customizability -- you get the vape YOU want, not what some machine in some factory in china thought would be good, and b) they last virtually indefinitely -- the two in my 2 kayfuns have been in use since July, and I daresay might still be in use NEXT July! Seriously... they don't wear out in NEARLY the time that factory made coils wear/burn out. And, maybe best of all, it makes you independent of a) the factory, b) the vendor, and c) most of all, THE MAIL! And of course it costs a GREAT!!! deal less to buy wire and wick than to buy pre-made coils.

I don't really understand why anyone would buy pre-made, given all the above. Unless they're just not physically capable of doing it, and that can be a problem for those with problems with their hands, or their eyes, because the things really are tiny -- it's awkward and frustrating at first because they ARE so tiny [roto, I think I INVENTED some cuss words when I was learning how!], but you get the hang of it pretty quickly, if you just try. I'm one of those people who hates not being able to do things that others can do -- I can't swim underwater or skate backwards, but man I can build some coils! :D

It does seem like WholeCig batches up their shipments; a friend here on the forum PMed me the other day, asking if it was normal for WholeCig to take a week to ship -- he ordered Tuesday, and still didn't have a shipping notice on Saturday. I told him about that "CYA" "7 days or more" they have in their TOS -- maybe waiting to batch up their shipments is why they have that 7 day notice.

I've decided that I'm going to try and use the WTA to cut down on how often I vape, to try and cut down on some of the wheezing/inhaler usage. It seems to work well in the mornings. Friday, I was busy after breakfast and forgot to take the stronger juice out of my tank and put in the regular 10mg, and in the afternoon I started getting some digestive hints that maybe I was vaping that strong mixture a bit too much -- so I just have to remember, when it's more than 10.5mg, DON'T CHAIN VAPE! :D The mix with the stronger WTA is about 11.5mg.

I'm expecting some vapemail too; some new flavors from bullcityvapor, and some new cartos. Both were in the Atlanta PO yesterday, so both should be here today, but I'm not seeing anything happening at my local PO so far today. Maybe they just had a stupid/lazy person in charge of the scanning this morning. :-x

I just ordered some Mother's Milk Red Hot WTA and Sweet Tart WTA and WholeCig's 36mg unflavored base to mix with my nic-only juices. Can't wait! This WTA stuff is awesome.

I carry more than one flavor and battery around with me. I usually have a nic-only flavor in one of them. Even after using WTA for about a week, I still notice a difference when I go back and forth. ATM, I only have the Aroma brand. This stuff is very useful for the wake up vape and after-meal vape. I am still wondering if there isn't something else in there... LOL We were nic-only for a month before we tried it, so perhaps that is what makes such a noticeable difference for us.

AHA! I got my vapemail -- both pkgs! So it was just as I thought, stupid/lazy was in charge of the scanning-in at my local PO this morning.

I've begun to notice the difference too, between WTA and plain-nic ejuice -- yesterday after b'fast when I switched out the high-WTA for the regular 10mg with a small amount of WTA, it felt like switching between "the real thing" and "placebo." I guess that "placebo" feeling is why I tend to chain-vape when I'm using no WTA or only a small amount -- but when I increase the WTA/nic to a certain point, then I don't feel the need for so much chain-vaping. Which is a good thing, because as I learned Friday, trying to chain-vape 11.5mg just upsets my stomach. :D

I'm going to try MM for the 50/50. I wish one of them made WTA with just PG. VG is the easiest thing to add. One bottle of Aroma I bought is 70/30, but it's flavored. I like it but just use a few drops to a tank. I just like a hint of flavor, not syrup. It's the PM and I didn't even expect it to be sweet.

I've had too many variables to voice an opinion on the WTA that I have. It isn't a dramatic enough difference for me to say it works. I'll try again with one at a time and see.
I will say that if you are looking for a real tasting harsh analog throat hit, The Whole Cigs Tobacco DIY WTA does that.

All I can say right now is that I seem to be doing a lot better with the brain fog situation. Of course, I've been adding some drops to every tank I vape.
