I have vaped in my store since day one of my vapeing journey. I have converted both my other coworkers and we all do, except when customers are in the store. However we have had several see our setups and ask about them. We are all more than happy to take some time and explain and demo the devices... that's our job rite? Sales lol. I finally had a conversation about vapeing with my boss, he comes by about once a month. He is very heath conscious and is extremely happy that we have all kicked analogs and has no problem what so ever that we vape in the store. One more reason that this is the best company I have ever worked for, and I was self employed for years!

I guess I should add the home office is in Indiana, I live in Illinois. I don't know if there are any specific laws there banning it in public.

Is your home office in Marion county? The state wide indoor smoking ban doesn't affect vaping, but the Marion county indoor ban does

So I finally (passively) initiated the conversation with the president of my company.

I had some gurgling in the car on the way to work, so when I got to my desk, I started taking stuff apart to dry it up/clean it. He walked by and noticed, "What in the world is that???"

So I went through my whole spiel - and he just thought it was the greatest thing ever. He's not a smoker.

"I wish I could do something to support your quitting better" he said.

"You can encourage me to use it", I said. "That would be huge"

"Does it smell?" he asked.

"Well - I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now. Right at my desk. All day. Have you noticed?"

"Vape on!" he said.

BOOM

I do but I keep it pretty discrete. Only a few people know. No one has complained thus far. I figure worst that will happen is I'll get a warning this first time if someone disproves but there is nothing in our current employee hand book indicating that I can not. And there are currently no laws in my state or city that prevent it either.

I figure as long as I don't make an ... out of my self and make huge clouds in my cubicle no one will say anything?
