You don't want to know how much longer the cheaper option takes LOL
From the tracking number it was just a regular Xpresspost shipping. The killer on price is 1) it was a large package with 2 kits and 2) remote location. One less kit and to Edmonton would be about $14.00, for the same service a day quicker (or maybe I should say a day less late)
Not sure where you're getting your information here, but...
1) It was just one kit and a couple small items - bottles, syringes, driptip.
2) According to Canada Post, I do NOT live in a "remote area". I live in a "non-major urban centre". (It's actually quicker to drive to Standard from the Calgary Airport than to many parts of Calgary.)
I have read CP's Delivery Standards. According to that document, I should have gotten my parcel yesterday. (2 days to get to Calgary, one day to get to Standard.)
As stated previously, I receive a number of items via mail. I have NEVER had an item shipped via Xpresspost show up later than the Expected Delivery Date. Often, I get them a day early. (Like I said, I'm only 45 mins from the Calgary Airport... you can't even drive across town in that time.)
The other issue I mentioned (in this post:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/156733-canada-post-bunk-2.html#post2563197) I have with their tracking is that it shows the item was left at the Post Office here in Standard. It does NOT show that the item landed in Calgary for processing.
