@ Blondielocs I have to agree with you. Since boxing day I've ordered quite a few things online and I've had by far the worst experiences with cp.

I live in the GTA and I paid for express once and it took 4 business days to get here (same province). I checked the status frequently and on Friday (ordered and shipped wed) it said it was out for delivery, it stayed this way until monday and come monday, not a knock, nothing, I was home all day, I had a vacation day. I check my mail and in with my mail was the delivery slip. It took them 4 days to deliver it from supplier 45 minutes away and I had to go pick it up anyway...

I ordered some juice a week or two later and the same thing happened. 4 days, (this time not express), someone home all day, said out for delivery for 2 days, delivery slip left in with the mail.

I assume they were too lazy to deliver and just stuck the slip in with the mail. I can't prove it but I have no faith in cp in my area.

Where I am up till this week I was lucky if the mail got to my place once a week since before Xmas, when it did come its was all bundled up and tied with a elastic .
I have a new mailman and had a polite chat with him, he knows I get packages regularly and promises to do better. So far so good, he delivered regularly last week, so I hope I keep him.
Interestingly enough, he was commenting on my deliveries and asked if I order allot from China, turns out he is from there:shock:

Next time try asking Jack to not ask for signature delivery. Just try it. See what happens. I know why he asks for signatures, but since I have a locked community box I know that some random guy won't steal my stuff. Ask and see if it doesn't remove some of the delivery angst. If it's regular post delivered to your house I wouldn't try it, but in a community box you should be fine.
I've only had delivery issues due to the signature thingy....I really understand why he does it standard...but no one can steal from a community box.

I've said this before, but...

NOTHING is ever delivered to my house. My mailbox is NOT a typical community mailbox like you would see in newer subdevelopments. Standard has a Post Office. INSIDE the Post Office is where our mailboxes are.

When I pick up my mail, ANY parcel delivered, signature required or not, is behind the counter as our boxes are too small to hold anything but standard letter size envelopes. Any time a parcel is delivered, a card is put in my mailbox... I walk across the room to the counter, hand it to the postmistress, at which time she checks if signature is required or not.

The issue here has nothing to do with signatures. The issue here is that Canada Post claims on their website tracking that they attempted to deliver the parcel and I was "carded". If this were true, that package would be at the Standard Post Office, and a card would have been left in my mailbox. None of this happened. No package was delivered - remember, the postmistress KNOWS me, knows I was waiting for something, AND looked through all the packages delivered just to be sure.

You do not have a typical community box. You need to take this up with Canada Post. I think it's because you small town people secretly hate us large community people and want us to miss out on our coupons....ADMIT IT, JUST ADMIT IT.

As I said before Canada Post will feign delivery if they're too busy...sounds like you got stuck with one of those carriers. And it's legal, and you don't get money back because they said so somewhere on their site, and your "express post" will arrive 3 days later than we said...I've been there tooo.

But did I make you smile? A teeny, tiny smile?

Coupons? You get coupons in the mail?? Hahaha. Most days when I go to my PO Box (that's what I'm calling it from now on to avoid any more confusion) it is FILLED with junk mail, and maybe a couple bills. We actually have a huge blue box sitting on the floor in the room where everyone just dumps the junk. I don't know why they send the stuff...

I think Canada Post is ......ed and it didn't even get here. Tracking is ridiculous... I mean, really... my parcel arrived in Standard without ever hitting Calgary first? Closest thing to a runway in town would be my driveway... and there sure as hell wasn't a plane parked on it yesterday morning.

Okay.. maybe a teeny smile. :p

ETA: With my luck, this package will be there, but the eGo batteries will still be in limbo...

I have the same kind of set up for canada post, it is in a small town, (population less than 10, if you can call that a town, lol) and it is run out of a residential home. You have access to your box 24,7 with a key in the porch area and there is a full service post inside. I have never had problems before, my first package from HV arrived 3 days after I put the order in, I was impressed. I have received many packages before and after, all without an issue, until now. WTF is going on with CP, I ordered from Jack on Jan 20, The expected delivery has been changed from the 27th to the 31, which is TODAY CP, incase you forgot to check your calender. I even received an e-mail from jack last night:

According to Canada Post, you should be receiving your order tomorrow! Hope you are a Very Happy Vaper!!!

Just got back from the post office, no package. Glad you got yours BlondieLocs, when you get your batteries I would love to hear your review on the eGo-T

All I have to say about Canada post is that they are a bunch of lazy, fuzzy sock suckers. The mail service I get here in Scarborough is terrible, atrocious, even maddening. Trust me, when you catch your postal worker putting slips on people's doors sometime after 6:30 pm like me you should complain.

I am a tough customer, mostly from working customer service and knowing how easy it was to do my job well. I will take my complaints to the ombudsman if I get torqued off enough. I figure they get paid handsomely to do things in a very exact way and they should do it, no excuses (other than acts of god/nature). I'm currently fighting with the mail system here in Scarborough so you're not alone. We do get the mail delivered directly to u here, but that is a blessing and a curse (lazy a**** don't like actually doing work).

well my delivery time was "adjusted" on the tracking info. was supposed to arrive tomorrow. well I am sitting here vaping all morning. sorry to toss salt in the wound but, hey it eventually arrived.... canada post may suck at times but we have a much better service than our southern friends do. I buy stuff from the UK often. They give a tracking number but no tracking for their service, yet when it hits canadian soil, it goes into the tracking system and can be tracked... so we have a much better system than many countries do.

Okay... so another update: I take back everything I said about the ladies who work at the Post Office. It appears they are completely incompetent.

After I got back from the Post Office, I sent an email to Jack, who promptly called Canada Post and had a trace put on the item. Jack then called me (within the hour, I have to add!) to let me know that the package was indeed at my Post Office, and had been there since Friday.

What happened was… well, she’s an idiot. She read the 114 of my street address and put the package in PO Box 114. My box number is 329. Box 114 happens to be one of the ONLY boxes it would fit in because it belongs to a larger business.

The other idiot postal worker who was standing there said they only look for Box Numbers on the packages… Really? I said. Because I have never used one. I always use my street address because a lot of places won’t ship to PO Boxes. Oh yeah, that’s right, she says. (Not to mention she outright lied to my face, as when I showed up the first time this morning they were looking up my Box number so they could "card" me for the package with the eGo T accessories.) I used my street address for the package that was delivered on THURSDAY correctly, and I used my street address for the package that was delivered on MONDAY correctly. Not to mention the 5 packages in December and the 3 or 4 in November. You'd think they would notice a pattern. So they tell me that what they have done to rectify the situation is put my name, as well as my street address, on my PO Box. Forgive me for not being convinced this will work.

Oh, and on top of that… IF they had even READ the shipping label, even completely forgiving my name (which doesn’t exactly sound like a large business to me) and address, they would have noticed it reads “SIGNATURE REQUIRED”. Which would have dictated that they CANNOT put it in a mailbox. It would have ended up on the shelf with the other 5 packages, and I would have gotten it on Friday.

I STILL have not signed for the package, btw.

Jack said he was still going to try to push for a refund for me. I relayed to him what had happened and told him to tell Canada Post that their customers should not have to pay for their employees’ incompetence… AND they owe me an additional $45 for the 3 packs of smokes I had to buy. Haha. /RANT

So anyway... now I am the proud owner of a silver auto eGo, a blue manual eGo - both with XL carts and attys, a driptip, and the eGo T atty and cartridges. I am now going to test them all against each other (along with the 510 and accessories I received from Kat - thanks again, Kat!) and I will post my thoughts in another thread.

well I am glad things worked out in the end for you... and the more I try this blueberry the more I am liking it... so things are better here today too. I have 3 analogs left fot today. had one. and am not going to buy any more. I have 2 flavours I can live with out of all I tried and may end up with more now I know they have to steep. it's odd that this no nicotine juice is actually working for me and am enjoying it. I was about ready to priority some new flavours over today... now I'll have 2 setup, one with nic one without to pacify the mental part

All I have to say about Canada post is that they are a bunch of lazy, fuzzy sock suckers.

My house is on a rural route, on a highway, so I have a rural style mailbox with the flag...

When the road gets plowed, it builds up a bit of a snow bank. The plow drivers are great, and get as close to the mailbox as possible without knocking it over. The postman refuses to deliver to my box in the winter, unless I cut the whole snow bank down 20ft before, and 20ft after my box!! That because he would have to reach slightly out the window of his cart to deliver the mail, rather than having the mailbox almost flush with the window..

The mail then is allowed to pile up at a rural post office about 20 mins from my house with the worst hours ever, when the city is only 5 mins always in the other direction.. I pay for a PO box in town for the winter months…

Oh yes, in November they left a note in my mailbox saying I needed to straighten it or they would stop delivering my mail. As with all mailboxes you see at the side of the road its almost impossible to keep them perfectly vertical, mine was sloped back maybe 5 degrees.. Now the thing to remember he was the notice was given in late November WHEN THE POST IS FROZEN SOLID INTO THE GROUND..

How lovely Canada Post is.

I live in Fredericton NB, capitol of NB. Canada post is USELESS.... I live in a Condo building. I was tracking my package daily. I noticed that it said attempted delivery, I was home at the time, so I checked my phone to see if they rang me from the lobby... Nope, no caller. I thought, strange, I'll go check to see if they left me a card for pickup.... nope... I called them to see if my package was there for pickup. They said that no package were there, but indicated the post man would be dropping package off that couldn't be delivered at the end of day (2 hours later). I asked why, if they did attempt to deliver, that I didn't have a card to indicate they came. The lady explained, they may not have had the key to get in my box... I asked why they didn't stick it to my box, it has sticky tape... she then said, they don't always leave a card... I was ...... at this point. I hung up the phone and went over to deal with this in preson, and file a complaint if need be. THey checked to see if i was there, and said it wasn't. While she went to the back, I noticed a cart with boxes in it, which she failed to look into. I asked her if it may be in the cart, she quickly replied, no, they have been here for a while and if my package was only delivered today, it wouldn't be in there. I pushed back and asked her to humor me and check.... Turns out my package was in the card, and had been sitting there for 4 DAYS!!! I already waited 2 MONTHS for the package to get here due to issuing companies screw up. I was livid that Canada post took 4 days to update the website, and didn't even leave a card... WTF did I pay for... They then denied that the post man didn't leave a card, and said I should have checked wth them. I then pointed out that I had called the day prior to the update on the site, to the main tracking center, who also failed to advise me it had attempted to be delivered. Needless to say, I never did get a result from this whole FIASCO... and they refused to reimburse me for any shipping costs... worst part of all, we HAVE to use Canada Post... there's no altenative.... not everything can be delivered via UPS :(

I'm sure THIS guy could do a better job than Canada Post.

I had the dumbest conversation with my post mistress (pm) yesterday morning. I shipped out a expresspost package Monday morning. Because I live in a small town, the mail truck only comes once, first thing in the morning, and I missed it. So Tuesday morning I checked the tracking number to make sure it got on the truck (my pm is rather old and forgetful, lol), and it said that there was no info for this item. I headed down to the post office and here is how it went:

Me: How long will it be until there will be some tracking info for that package I sent out yesterday available online?
PM: I would give it a few days
Me: But I sent it out express, shouldn't it be delivered in a few days?
PM: Yes, you should be able to see when the package is delivered.
Me: But can't you track when it gets picked up, when it gets to winnipeg, then to BC?
PM: I don't know how that works, I have never tracked a package online before.

Lol. You should have seen when our post office was finally upgraded to modern times with a computer about a year ago. Before that everything was done with pen and paper. She still can't figure out that darn computer. The kids enjoy going there because she has a small dog and a big cat that chase eachother around and play, keeps them entertained for the 20 minutes it takes me to mail a package.

Oddly enough, it looks like my GH1 package is now sitting at the post office literally 200 meters away from me, but my Omega didn't come in today. I will forgive Canada post though, as they can safely claim act of god on this one. I don't suppose anything made it out of the GTA last night. You know you're truly sick when a package you ordered 2 weeks ago from china is 200 meters away and you can't bring yourself to go get it... (Doc says I got the flu and ordered me on sick leave till Monday) I've barely vaped a ml a day since Sunday, at least I'm not crawling outside to light up an analog like past years with the flu.
