I love it when dog owner starts seeking help on how to control their very excited, lovable-turned neurotic pitbull. Dog trainer comes over and dog owner resents seeing her/his loveable dog gets disciplined. It's cruelty says the dog owner. What the heck! What did you call me here for in the first place?!

Dog owner doesn't even realize that by nurturing neurotic, dominant behavior is cruelty, which leads to family members, neighbors, strangers getting bitten as a potential result of the behavior. Not to mention the dog never gets to experience relaxed, dog-like behavior. "She's very protective of me!", "She has separation anxiety!" "It's not my fault that I'm a very lovable person. It's not my fault that she misses me so bad" (sniffs and cries like a drama queen). It kills me.

Dexter Dress up.jpg

Dexter - in a pink dress and not pleased (this is what happens when bored teen boys get ahold of the cat)

Holly the Queen.jpg

Holly - The Queen of the household - smaller than everyone else - but able to bring a pit bull to his knees in a single swipe of the paw.

Jemma 13 weeks.jpg

Jemma - the latest addition to the household - and entirely unsure as to why the other two furry family members won't play!

kanadiankat what a gorgeous furry family you have!

LOL @ Jemma wondering why the kitties won't play with her. My dog always wonders the same thing when we go over to my parents' house and their cat just swipes at her.

Last night I accidentally backed up my chair into my pooch who was sleeping behind me and naturally she jumped up and sort of shrieked. For some reason the cat went absolutely berserk and jumped on the dog and started clawing at her. The whole ordeal probably only lasted 10 seconds the time it took me to pick up my dog after which the cat still tried jumping on her and my mom shooed him away.

My parents cat actually pooped himself, he excreted this really foul odor all over his fur, and the oddest thing; he was actually howling!

Thankfully neither got really hurt, on the swipes scratched the top of my dog's ear which bled a little, but mostly she was just in a state of utter shock, heart racing and she was trembling.

It'll be interesting to see how to react to each other the next time we go over :)

Caesars Way is the only way...

That being said, if someone took God out of their thoughts long enough to yell at MY dog, well, let's just say he'd be vaping in a whole new way...Momma don't play..

You probably have seen that episode about these two ladies (owners of a gym and a dog). Cesar was trying to discipline their very excited dog and stop him from entering the softball field where one of the dog owners plays and runs around bases. The dog was uncontrollable. The two owners didn't like what Cesar was doing. One of the owners was so smug she wouldn't even look at Cesar when he's talking. Of course, Cesar called off the whole thing, pack their things and left. It was disgusting to see such dog owners acting like their dog was safer in their hands. Apparently, it was not. Made me puke.

I like that show. What I find amazing is most of the humans in the show expect Ceasar to fix the dog instead of the human. You'll see the resentment in their faces when told they are the problem. Some are even surprised. Fact that the dog changes in just a matter of minutes in many of the cases means they are the problem. We've owned a dog when I was a kid, but I've never understood the whole thing of owning one till I watched the show on a regular basis.
