Do you smoke unconsciously? I used to do that all the time, especially if I was immersed in a project for work. I'd look over, and half a pack would be up in smoke and I barely even remembered smoking them. I was just lighting them one after another automatically.
If you do that, make it a more conscious decision each time you choose to smoke. Put the cigs farther away from you, and keep your PV close at hand. That way, you'll start automatically reaching for the PV, and if you decided you really want the cigarette, vape for 10 or 15 minutes first, then have one.
Try making some changes to your routine. Do you smoke in the house? Can you vow to smoke only outside? That will disrupt your routine a bit. Can you promise yourself not to smoke in your car? Eliminate some of the places or times you smoke. You still allow yourself to smoke if need be, just not in the usual way so it doesn't feel the same.
Do you have specific triggers? My morning smoke with coffee was a huge one for me. So I found a coffee flavor vape that I liked, and I started vaping on that as soon as I woke up, while I was making coffee, and vaped vaped vaped all through the first cup. The nic in vaping builds more gradually in your system rather than giving you that quick hit that cigarettes do, so sometimes you have to give yourself that extra vaping time to let it build up and satisfy your desire for nic.
I also loved smoking while I was reading or at the computer. I spent my first week vaping glued to ECF, reading, reading, reading. I was trying to learn everything I could, but it ended up helping me switch my cigarette/computer/reading connection to vaping/computer/reading. Not only did it make it easier to vape instead of smoke if I was reading about vaping, but all the support and everything I learned here helped with motivation. I still sometimes go back and read through my first thread and all the encouraging words keep me going.
I also happened upon this thread and read the whole thing while vaping away. Hilarious, touching, educational, I laughed, I cried, I vaped the whole time and forgot about smoking:

Give it time to become a habit, while you break the others. I completely agree with
CaptainCook - every cigarette you don't smoke is a WIN!
Good luck!
