I'm sorry, but all of these "I wanted to vomit" stories make me think about a friend of mine when we were kids. His dad caught him smoking and made him sit down and smoke an "entire pack" of Camel non-filters (that was when parents were pretty mean! lol) and my friend hasn't touched a cigarette some 40 years since. Cigs are disgusting....

FYI he probably only got through 4 or 5 of them, turned green and vomited! His dad said, "If you want to smoke again after that....have at it."

I had that when I was 16 or 17; My dad saw me smoking and he said you are going to a party tonight... But first you are going to smoke the remainder of my pack. Was about 20, took me a while, went out ... But never stopped smoking .... untill I actually started vaping a while ago

I had this experience twice. The first day I got an ecig, I had almost a pack of cigarettes left. Being the cheapskate that I am I refused to throw them away. I took both my ecig and my smokes to poker league that night and alternated between them. By the end of the evening, I was dreading the cigarettes and for the first time ever I was happy to be at the end of a pack. The 2nd time was about 2 months into vaping when I went to the courthouse and it took longer than expected. I didn't bring a backup and my batt died. I bummed a smoke from someone outside, took 2 hits and turned green. Never again! lol

Three weeks and 2 days ago I purchased a PV (Volcano's Inferno - ego type) the first day I had I still smoked 6 cigarettes. The next morning I woke up and smoked 1/2 a cigarette which tasted what I imagine burning cat piss tastes like. That's been my last cigarette. I have had my last pack tacked up on the wall above my desk and some poor desperate souls have apparently been taking them here or there. My sense of taste and smell have come back strong and I really dislike being around cigarette smoke now - though I will never be obnoxious about it since in 20+ years nothing has been successful for me until I got a personal vaporizer.

Now if I can just find a juice I like again ! RY-4 tasted great the first week nice carmelly tones, I ordered a big bottle of Carmel Robacco from Blue Mist and it tastes like vaping apple cider vinegar! Almost everything seems to acidic now.

I had been keeping a pack of "comfort" cigs in my purse since I started vaping. I just had to know they were there if I really decided I wanted one... I'm sure you guys know that feeling... well, a couple of days ago I laid them down in the "smoke shack" at work and walked away from them. I hope whoever picked them up likes stale cigs!!! LOL!

4 months ago when people asked me when it was time to quit, I told them i had no intention quitting analogs.
I had gone down that road before and started smoking again a few months later.
So I just told them i was happy smoking and gotta have some joy's in life...
Been smokefree 3 months now..dont see me ever going back to analogs.
No desire for analogs even when im out drinking..thats what got me earlier when i tried quitting.

Well: after vaping for 2 months I smoke a little filter cigar and I was astonished because I wouldn't feel any throat hit.
The day after to get rid of my debts I asked a friend to give me a Marlboro red, the sameting didn't feel anything. it was like inhaling plain air. meaning it doesn't bother me at all since is like smoking nothing.

unfortunatly that doesn't mean I can't stop vaping. I also remember how people will look at me when I used to smoke regular cigarettes, some would even attack me verbally. that's why I respect people that smoke tobacco cause I understand the habit of smoking.:vapor:

Yes, and no.
I don't mind the smell too much, and as a (former) smoker, I can understand. However, I too have had some moments where I had a puff, and I agree. It's just like I was 17 again. The "true tobacco taste" came through, and yuck.

Now for the wierd part. I'm getting low on juice, and waiting to get some. I do have a bit of loose tobacco left in a can, and instead of thinking about cranking one off and smoking it, I'm thinking, "hmmm, how can I extract the nicotine out of this and vape it?"

Has this happened to you?

Yes. I had a very similar experience. I left my PV at home on accident, and smoked a few due to nicotine urges. But they tasted like crap, and it has helped remove some lingering "I wish I could have a real cig" urges. If that situation comes up again, I may try a gas station disposable e-cig or something.

I had been told that after vaping for awhile, cigs would taste horrible, but I didn't think that would work for me. I'd always enjoyed smoking. I thought if I smoked one, I'd enjoy it. It was really cool to find out that I no longer enjoy smoking. :)

I cant stand the smell that it leaves on smokers but i actually dont mind the smell of a burning analog

Yeah, same here. I like the smell of a fresh unlit cig, and I like the smell of a fresh burning cig. But the smell that lasts after it's long gone is horrible.

Same here. That happened early on to me. TRAPPED! IN A CAR! NO WORKING BATTERIES! And it was pretty much all good and there was no nicotine freak-out experience - like I expected before I got home to a working battery.

It really is amazing how some of these perceptions we had, some times for decades, can change so quickly when we pick up vaping. The cigarette experience experience we all claimed to love and made it so hard to quit rapidly changes to GAG! YARK! And the thought of being without 2 packs of cigarettes, 3 lighters and a book of matches (just in case...) turns into "I don't have a working PV... So what?" And you find you can actually get through - hours even - until you figure out what to do.
True. Then again it has been only a month smoke free. For some vaping is love at first vape. For myself, I'm still searching for the perfect experience.
