I've seen this posted before, but never bothered to pay attention to how folks cope. I've been anolog-free for 10 days, and today I can't taste any of my juices. It's definitely something to do with my tastebuds and not my equipment / juices (meaning I think the vaping caused it, but there is nothing wrong with my gear not giving me taste).

I am having my first serious cravings since I quit, and want to know how others have gotten through this stage. Also, advice on how to prevent this from ever happening again would be welcome as well. I've been spraying biotene, using biotene gum, and nothing is making it so that a vape is satisfying.

10 days can easily be in the old tastebuds being tossed and the new one's setting up shop, I'd not be too quick to say it's the juice. It could be your body withdrawing from chemical 2843. Have you tried different combos to see if the non taste persists? I'm moving my voltage around between 3.5-4.7 right now, and I sometimes taste nothing, sometimes I do get some flavor.

For your cravings, I'd just mad vape till you get into a nice nicotine place. To ensure this would never happen again, you'd need a red hot poker and a knife and
Oh, sorry, was watchin game of thrones..

I think once you get through this, everything will be easier, but I'd have some 24+mg juice around to go to if you have unwanted cravings later. Right now though, you're still in the withdrawl window.

I find that if I drink coffee and after that the taste comes back. I don't know if you want that much caffeine, but maybe try decaf. The less sugar the better.

Coffee seems to restart my tastebuds.

Brewing a pot right now. Stat.

Thanks - never thought about my tastebuds getting in on this new action. I've tried all my menthol juices, sweet juices, and dessert juices (18 and 24 mg) on both LR and regular clearos and cartos at different volts. At most I'll get a slight taste on the exhale with the stronger ones.

I've been doing the mad vape thing, but it's kind of like smoking analogs when you are sick. I don't even want to look at my eGo. :(

Are you staying hydrated?

This may be your opportunity to vape those juices you don't like since you can't taste it anyway.

Yeah - my fiancee was out of town for work for one night and said I went through 2 entire 8 packs of g2 Gatorade since Sunday.

awwww i'm sorry! but like Orobas said, now you've got a couple days to vape all the juices in your stash you don't like so much ;-)

Well, knowing that it can last a few days is better than not knowing! Now I just have to plan (if my buds are on a little vacay) exactly how to get through the next couple of days without murdering. Must not murder.
