Sorry, I beg to differ.

While I order sometimes from a canadian supplier I found their prices to be generally 2x and sometimes more. But they ship fast and you avoid the tiny chance your order is sized by customs.

I've noticed pricing is less in the US even after factoring in shipping. What would happen if the item gets seized at customs? does it go back to shipper? do you get a refund?

generally speaking IF duties were applied, I'm assuming it would still be cheaper to buy from US vendors?

Well seeing that the government has said all imports of nicotine into canada are banned, I haven't bothered to try get any juice from across the border.

Yep, same here...been tempted a few times though  The Canadian suppliers I have dealt with have all been excellent, so I'll be shopping Canadian for now!

Likewise. There's a few US Juices i'd like to try out but I don't feel like the potential hassle.

Like you say, thankfully we have some great canadian suppliers so it's not a huge deal. There just seems to be more variety south of the border.

I am limited to VG and there is little choice available in Canada for VG juices. However, rather than ordering from south of the border I have decided to put on my Mad Scientist hat, lay in some unflavoured VG and make it yummy myself.

Electronic-cigz carries very good VG juice and Happy Vaper has a plethora of flavours.

I appreciate the Canadian sellers taking the customs hit for me, and have had great service and products from four of them so far!

If the business you order from offers tracking, then your tracking information will show that your item will be returned to its origin.

Some vendors WILL reship, however there is no obligation to. Check with your vendor just in case. You may be required to send money for additional postage, which I understand. The pricing markup for some items is very low, so to expect them to LOSE money on a sale doesn't make a lot of sense.

If items are turned back, it does not guarantee that the items will be received by the vendor as well.

When I worked for Vapor4Life, our policy was that if your package was returned via Canada Customs, we would gladly reship on our dime once. If it is turned away a second time, you'd recieve a full refund.

The vendor in question ate the shipping fees too, so I always thought it was a classy move. You do get what you pay for in some cases.

That said, out of every package I have ever ordered from US suppliers, only once did I have something turned away. It's pretty low risk in my opinion.

I'm on a tight, and getting tighter budget with preparations for kids birthday and prepping the kids supplies for going back to school, then its getting ready for xmas(kids again).

Due to this I am exploring DIY flavorings and VG for diluting from Perfumers apprentice, unflavored nic from Tasty Vapor, and hardware from china.
When my latest orders make it here I will lower my average monthly cost from between 80.00 - 100.00 to lower than 50.00.

It's taken me over a year to reach this point, but when the wife sat me down and we went over what she wanted for the kids this year something in the budget had to give.

Funny that it was my hobby that was reduced and not her smoking habit, but that's another discussion.

Someday I will find the perfect no fuss battery/cartomizer/flavor combination and she will finally convert over. She gets frustrated easily and I need a simple no fuss system for her.

I love dealing with my Canadian suppliers, but with the potential savings of up to 50% its hard to keep my orders Canadian only.

Just my 2 cents.

All the best, Happy Vaping,
Wing.

Maybe it's a prairie thing, but I've had 1 of 4 orders from TV returned by Customs. And my vaping friend who lives down the street has had the unfortunate luck of having 2 out of 4 orders from V4L held by Customs.

Customs returned my order to TV but my friend's orders sat (and are still sitting) in Customs in Missauga (4 months and 2 months old). Friend contacted Customs and was told that they needed to hear directly from the shipper. Friend told V4L that, and V4L rather than talk to Canada Customs, just resent the order for her to another address of her choosing. And this time it got through.

This bothers me. Friend's a devoted V4L fan and the way things are going they're gonna give up shipping to her (and I wouldn't really blame them).

Ok, so I just got my order from VB today, 15 days to get here, as discussed previously they did everything to help it get through no prob, customs didn't even open it!

I will definately be ordering again as they have their flavours in 5ml sizes so I can try lots of them :) They also sent an extra 5ml bottle of juice for free, extra droppers and some extra cart filler! Super impressed!

:( Unfortunately after I ordered I realized I was allergic to pg and had ordered 80%pg/20% vg so I can't actually vape them (my mom is a very happy camper lol) but I couldn't resist trying them, awesome! Cinnabomb rocks! on the flip side even 3 drops vaped on my atty and I'm all itchy again :( Now I have to wait another 15 days till I get the vg juice lol! The mailman stocking is getting worse it's like a disease or something lol!
