I can see how showing the breakdown like that would be good for mixing up a batch of flavorings only to create their own custom flavor blend to then be added to unflavored at 15 or whatever percent. Much easier in the longrun if you are sure this is a combo for your tastes.
It does confuse if you are used to adding individual flavors to base,

Like on the Boba's clone page...

15% flavor
Boba's Clone #1
Black and Mile Plus 60.0%
Cotton Candy 20.0%
Coconut 20.0%

That's what I'm talking about. When I first saw the percentages, I was like woah... 60%?? Then I had to look further back and see that somewhere it mentions the total flavoring percent is 15% of the entire product.

Don't feel bad that would confuse most including me!

What percent do you guys use Gingerbread at? I forget what I used (written down at home) but I couldn't taste it at all, and I'm pretty sure I used 15% - but it only has been steeping for a day or two so I will give it a little longer..
I could have screwed up the percentage, though, just curious to hear about the gingerbread flavor

10% and let it steep several days works for me.

I just got a new bottle of Chocolate Fudge Brownie and it is really weak compared to the bottle before it. I sure hope the recent sale wasn't to clear old inventory which could explain the weakness.

Hmm.. well I will double check how much flavor I used when I get home from work.. but is it common for it to not have any taste after a day?
Also to be fair, there was a slight cinnamon flavor left over on my wick so that could have just masked it completely!

I get it now. That is odd, but like WallyO said...that could make sense if they're bulk mixing just flavor for continued use. Could make things simpler.

You're right about that. Perfumey scent isn't an indicator of flavor strength. Just tried the 15% Harvest Berry I made and it is not nearly as strong as I thought it would be. Very nice and subtle for a sweet flavor. Could probably go higher. :)

Capella recommends 15-20% even if you go over that you should still be okay Capella Flavors are forgiving.

Any of you use vinegar in your mixes? This Harvest Berry is surprisingly bland. Wondering if something can make it sparkle a little. The exhale has nice flavor and I get a corn syrup aftertaste, but there's nothing on the inhale...no throat hit. It's about a 50/50 with 16mg nic with 15% Harvest Berry and 3% EM. Maybe I just need a fresh wick/coil.

I'm reading the vinegar thread, but just wondering if any of you Capella folk have tried it out.

I would try adding a little Lemon first 3 drops per 10ml.

I was very excited when I first smelled Harvest Berry, it was one of the first batches I made with this sale. I sadly have to agree with you, I don't think this flavor can stand alone :( Not sure what would go with it, at first I was thinking Gummy Bear.

I was really excited to try Harvest Berry :(

Also my Banana Split was a dud, practically no flavor. Not sure how that batch went bad, I'll have to redo it.

Sweet Guava is good, reminds me of shisha since that was my favorite flavor to have. I like it

Apple Pie though, is my favorite of the 4 batches so far. Good stuff. I mixed everything at 10% 50/50, vaped in IGO-L w/ eckowool

Cheers

I tried the Choco Fudge Brownie w/ a little vanilla the other night at 10% and it was weak and flat. Tasted exactly like one of the fancier vendor's fudge brownies i tried that was extremely lackluster. Hmmmm... Going to have to work on that.

I'm wondering if Capella changed something or peoples taste varies, some say the Chocolate Fudge Brownie is overpowering @ 10%

I just made 26 5 ml trials, all single flavor w/out embellishment. 4.7 ml w/15 drops (sugar cookie and vanilla custard got 16). I also just realized that I need to order the 6.5 scintillation vials in bulk.So I did. When my husband throws me out of the house for spending all our money, can I trade rent for e-juice supplies...anyone? ;)

edit: oooh, I see that I'm at the 299 post mark- will I change into someone that knows what the heck they're doing at the 300 mark?

No, you change into something at 300 samples made.

i still plan to try it first on its own, and i will let you know my results.

UPdate on my horchata: its awesome at 10%. if anyone is a sweet, creamy, nutty fan- hop on the bus :)

You could try adding Menthol and Koolada to them Berries that will give you a throat hit. I like Menthol in my fruit sometimes.
