Thanks Syber, this is actually my second 74 Cuda. My first one I bought in 1979 was sweet too, but then I traded it for 87 Iroc-Z Camaro with Tuned Port Injection and I havent been able to go back to a carbureted car since. Thats why I put the Accel/DFI injection system on my latest 74. I can plug my laptop in and adjust the fuel maps, timing and so on while driving down the highway. No fiddling with jets and springs and float levels constantly. And just like the TPI... no hesitation when you floor it...love them G-forces.

I was hoping to see a lot of muscle on this thread...but I guess everyone drives a minivan now. Sigh....

Oopsss...I do too  2009 Sienna but but but...I cant haul the kids, their junk and our bikes to the C&O canal in the summer with the Cuda!

I WANT PICS OF THE R33!!!!! and there are a few here illegally there is an r34 a few miles from me saw him on the road and almost Pooped my pants. As for me I am a sucker for Dodge Dakotas on truck #2 just the 2nd and 3rd gens as well as old Mopar Muscle and a few imports (hate fords and chevy's)

another note on the skylines you can get them here as "Kit Cars" you have to order the body and motor separate and register it as a Kit. This normally makes getting insurance on it hard though.

Well, before I got into ECF I was pretty active in a forum for a specific car (see avatar).
Scanning through the posts here I get the feeling a guy has to be into muscle cars to have a passion for their car!

I don't have a muscle car, but I have owned some cars over the years which I was pretty passionate about, including my 2008 smart fortwo cabriolet. By FAR the most interesting car I've owned, and at 56 years of age I've owned a few.

Oh, my fortwo doesn't sound like a broken lawnmower.

I was going to just edit my post (#25) to add this video. But, it would appear there is a time limit during which editing is allowed. Last September a bunch of smart owners from all over the Eastern US and Canada gathered at the Tail of the Dragon, on the Tennessee/North Carolina state line. This video is from a camcorder mounted to my dashboard. The video runs a hair over 2x normal speed, which I feel gives it more of a sensation such as was experienced during the drive.

It was a great weekend, with 84 smarts showing up and a good time was had by all.

My Baby...1986 XJ6. All original! Gotta love her...except the dual tanks when you are at the pumps....:(

These shots were taken back in '06. Right now she's been in the shop since Nov '09. Getting a body make-over. The shop is soooo picky they are having the rep from PPG come in to actually do the paint job on it.

Up to now, it's all been original, but the Florida humidity did a number on her....poor thing...

After the body shop, it's off to my friend for a little updated engine work.

That is one sweet looking classic ride! And, very nice to have a picky body shop indeed. ;) :)

Nope Beecee...that's a perfectly tuned lawnmower. :D

But... you should have that right muffler bearing checked out...

Just messin with ya ;)

Haha, that's right after I installed the new cat and exhaust/muffler. Sounds deeper now but I am getting tired of it making noise so might throw the old cat back in. Plus the old cat only has 18k miles on it and the new one has about 38k miles on it...which I guess now makes it older!

Would hate to loose the added 30+hp but, I think my vroom vroom days are over. Now I'm like an ole lady in a hot rod.

Speaking of mufflers...I have got to get one of these for my van so it sounds like my Cuda...in Hemi flavor. :p

I can see it now...some poor basterd will be crusin down the road trying to get the sound up and meanwhile their real engine has thrown a rod 5 miles back and they wont even know it.
