I was very skeptical of this method because whenever i drip to refill, and spill a little down the center hole of the cart (or overfill), i get a gurgling sound when trying to vape. This leads to a hard draw, decreased performance, and often juice leaking into my mouth. But after watching Leaford's video blog on the topic, and seeing how well he liked the method, i decided to give it a try.

I was very disappointed when the very same issues i was concerned about began to come up. I mean, if you fill it until juice bubbles from the top/battery end of the cart, the center hole is obviously flooded.

Is anyone else having this issue? If not, could you please share your success stories? Or any tips you may have so that I may be able to avoid this problem?

Thanks!

when i started using the cart method, i would take the white cap and stopper out, and refill the battery way first. Just to see how it worked.

It's your choice, and nice to have the freedom.

Now, I can tell that as soon as I start to lose flavor/vapor, I can toss 15 drops in the cart and I am good to go.

With the condom cart method you WILL have to refill a bit more often, but for ease of use, its awesome.

I push the envelope. 23 drops to refill my German Chocolate Cake. To compare, 14 drops will fill a 510 cart to air holes.

Anyhow, when you fill using the cap, the suction from pulling the cap back off seems to clear it out enough. Just don't put the plug into the battery side before taking the filling cap off. Then I let them sit battery side down for a few minutes and I'm good to go.

On an empty cart I get about 22 drops with the cap fill method, then if it doesn't look full enough I'll put a few drops in the top.

Once you get the hang of it this method is way better than the topfill method. With the cap fill you just fill it, clean the threads out, and vape away... Top fill is a hassle and waste of time IMO.

In my blank carts I've been putting in just over 20 drops, about 23 to 25. Usually I will put 15 in, shake it like a thermometer put 5 more in, shake it like a thermometer and try for 5 more and so on and so forth. Works awesome for me. I know it's full when I see the lil air bubbles. I then wipe the battery end off and blow lightly through the mouth piece and wipe the battery end again if I have to, let it set for a few minutes (figured out it's not necissary to let it sit overnight) and start vapin away. This is so darn simple and I'm so glad I found out about it on here. I've not had any girggling or anything like that either.

Usually I just fill till I just start to see a bubble at battery end. Pull off the cart cond with 'gusto' which seems to pull the excess back with it... then I wipe it down, grab the cart and cover the battery end with my index finger and give it 2 or 3 good 'thermometer shakes' like Bella mentioned.

I also make sure my first two or three draws are long, gentle draws to be sure - and I've never had a problem since I figured out that little combo. Works for me anyway :)

Take care,
- Hap

With the Rubber tip premiums it is so much easier to just pop the cap and refill by dripping directly into the filling while rotating the carto in my finger, this way get a even distribution. Also dont forget to let the juice soak in.

I tried the condom technique and did not like it. I was having the same problems as other. Dont get my wrong if I am in a pinch I will use it, but I usually refill 2 or 3 cartos for the day.

If I'm home I use a combo method. 15 drops in the carto condom and pop the mouthpiece plug out, insert carto slowly, leave condom on and put in another 6-10 drops on the mouthpiece end until it is wet but not pooled, pop mouthpiece plug back in and wipe the end off. Vape.
I use a pushpin to get the white plug and clear "washer" out at the same time. The white plug and the clear "washer" stay on the pushpin and when you are ready to put them back in just pick up the push pin by the handle and use it to push the "washer" and plug back in at the same time.
This is my method for a fresh blank carto. If you are refilling a carto that you are already using, it's a little more dicey because no matter how dry it seems, there is still some liquid in there so you basically have to fill it by sight.
